Ultrafast Electronic-Raman Spectroscopy and Single Particle Imaging of Artificial and Natural
Light-Harvesting Systems
Our lab is developing new approaches to study how charge and energy move in
complex molecular systems at the extremes of time and space. Specifically, we have
developed 4D Electronic-Raman spectroscopy and sub-diffraction transient-
absorption microscopy, methods that are uniquely sensitive to electron-phonon-
vibrational interactions. We highlight the use of these complimentary techniques for
examining a diverse array of systems from pigment-protein complexes to hybrid lead
halide perovskites.
