For pilgrims from Thiruvananthapuram : You can takeThiruvalla or Chengannur journey by road to reach Sabarimala.

Alternate routes for people who are not able to reachChengannur by train:Reach Alappuzha by train and reachChanganassery or Erumely by road. Or reach Kayamkulam bytrain and proceed via Adoor to Pathanamthitta district.
