4. Numbers This method can be fun and easy! I like to use this method when I know I’m going to need something really quick and easy, something that is not going to take a lot of thought. Examples: 5 of our favorite dinner foods, 10 favorites at age 10, Miles travels, Meals out, Nights on the road.

In 2012 I did a really great layout using numbers - On 12/12/12 I took 12 photos that all through the day! My journaling was simply the day. 5. Memorabilia I’m a huge fan of using memorabilia and having memorable in scrapbooks. By placing memorabilia into your album 1/2 of the journaling/story telling is already done. The next thing that is great about having that memorabilia is it sparks your memory! Having that physical item to touch or see will bring back MEMORIES and MOST of all FEELINGS! I want you to document your feelings in the stories you are telling.

TIP / REMINDER: A small reminder when adding items to your album that are not archival such as receipts, movie tickets, invitations, programs, etc you may want to scan them and print them out so they are preserved. 6. Q&As This method works the best with kids, however you can use it with anyone. Let someone tell the story by you asking the questions. Check out this list of questions for kids. Click HERE {http://www.scrapbook.com/forums/ showtopic.php?tid/1551625/} This is a thread on a message board and I was blown away with some of these ideas! They are AMAZING! 7. Lists Including lists you make in your album as a journaling piece can be the most reflective of your everyday life. A good friend of mine makes lists just about everyday and they are normally have 4 or 5 items of things that have to be done. What a great way of telling the story of their life.

I can remember this same friend making song lists for Sunday Evening Church! It was a huge part of my teenage years! I spent Sunday Afternoons with this family and can see those song lists clear as day in my mind. It would be so amazing to have one of them in a Project Life Album to look back at. It would bring back so many fond memories not only of this person but also of our Sunday afternoons spent with family and even Sunday Evening Church Services!
