CurrencyMore Than Money!

When we think of currency we tend to

think of money.

Some of the more intellectual or business

minded in the group may also ponder time,

resources and commodities as well.


CurrencyMore Than Money!

Anything that can be traded between humans that has

value or worth is a currency.

If it holds mutual value and can be offered or denied, it’s a currency.


TRU$T is a currency.

You may not have ever thought of it that way, but it

is. It’s the currency that underlies all others.

Take away trust and the dollar becomes worthless,

our time becomes meaningless (to others) and our resources don’t

matter.


TRU$T

Trust is 'a currency that will not be

affected by inflation' or 'a currency that

you can use everywhere and

every time'.


More Currency.

Power and authority are currencies as well, but

they are just as vulnerable as every other currency to the trust/value equation.

In the Same way in Gods kingdom there are some

currencies more important


Faith is our Trust in God

The underlying key to our relationship

with God is our faith.

We have faith because we trust

him


Grace & Mercy One Coin, Two Sides


Grace & Mercy!

Grace for me is getting what you do not deserve and Mercy is not getting

what you deserve.

I have always believed that Grace and Mercy, are both

sides of the same coin.

The only other currency accepted in the Kingdom.

Everything We Need

When you confess your sin God is not just finding

out!

He simply giving us a chance to shower us with

HiS Mercy & Grace

Imagine what an unbeliever goes through

when they sin!

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If

we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to

cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

You will arise and have mercy on Zion;

For the time to favor her,Yes, the set time, has come.


Offered Freely

Grace, often defined as unmerited favor, is offered freely by God "through the redemption that is

in Christ Jesus" (Romans

3:24).


By Faith

It is offered to us only through faith in Christ so that we

may clearly understand that it is not obtainable by any adherence to

the law.

Filthy Rags

The law is holy, just, and good (Romans

7:12), but unfortunately it magnifies our sin and shows us how far we are from reaching the

perfect standard of our holy and righteous

Creator.


That's We Need Grace

Thankfully God's amazing grace overpowers our

magnified sin, as it "superabounds" above our

transgressions. "But where sin

abounded, grace did much more

abound" (Romans 5:20).


Rich in Mercy

God is also rich in His mercy

toward us (Ephesians 2:4),

as He extends His loving compassion to us despite our sinful

condition.


We Don't Earn Our Salvation

Our salvation is rooted in God's mercy, as He "hath begotten us again unto a lively

hope by the resurrection of

Jesus Christ from the dead" (1 Peter

1:3).


Our Response is Worship & Adoration

Grace and mercy are glorious gifts from God that

should take us to our knees in worship and adoration.


Nothing to Add!

We can bring absolutely nothing to God except a humble and thankful heart as

we trust not in our works, but solely in the finished work of

Jesus Christ at Calvary.


His Mercies Are New Everyday

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but

according to His mercy He saved us" (Titus 3:5).

Thank God that "His mercy endureth for ever" (Psalm 136:26)

Real prayer is transformative—we humble ourselves

before the Lord so He can align us with His Spirit and enable us to receive what

He’s providing to reshape us.

If we come to prayer with pride and condemnation in

our hearts, we’ll remain absolutely unchanged.

The reasons and barriers to receive

from God are in our minds not with God

In spite of us God loves us and bypasses our

weakness and pride but is interested in healing blessing and delivering

us

others.

We Haven't Received So We don't GiveMatthew 10:7-8

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at

Proper conduct towards unbelievers!

How do you behave with and toward

unbelievers?

Do you like them?

Do you hate them?

Do you tolerate them?



Are you concerned about their salvation?

Do you act like them when you aren't in

Christian company?

Do you snub them if they aren't holy?



Some Christians think that being

kind to unbelievers is like throwing pearls before swine.



Then there are Christians who stand on street corners, in malls, and in front of

abortion clinics to witness to unbelievers.

Others just don't care one way or another.



Where do you fit in?

Do you share your faith using hugs or

headlocks?

Honey or a hammer?

Or do you even share your faith at all?
