2. Presentation objective

  • To provide you an outline on what the schools, the Ministry and have started in the MLE domain

so that

  • You can join in and join up no matter where you are at (personally, school-wise)

and

  • Together really make this thing work better for learning

3. What is an MLE? Software tools and digital content that support learning

  • Comprised of many different modules, such as an SMS, LMS, eportfolio tool, blog, repositories for digital learning objects and many more

  • Does your strategic direction include technology?

30. Does your technology needs include a LMS? 31. Document your needs and your wants 32. Review options and what others around you are doing 33. The value in sharing an LMS with another/other schools 34. Remember the people aspect of change management, including leadership buy-in and shared ownership 35. And yes, you can obtain many/all thebenefitswithout an LMS (by using other tools) the decision is your 36. E-portfolios

      • Investmentin usability(substantive improvements)
      • Started integration with LMS
    • 38. Hundreds of taster sessions ( Takingrequests now )

My conviction is that this is probably the most important part of our current work for impact of learning (of students and teachers) 40. Identity and Access Management

41. What value would you place on having fewer, that grant access to most key services/sites/applications, and worked from school and from home? 42. Hope is on the way
