Industrial RevolutionThe Industrial Revolution was a historical period, suffering the largest set of socio-economic changes, technological and culturalThe economy based on manual labor was replaced by one dominated by industry and manufacturing.

Steam engine and Spinning JennyThe revolution started with the mechanization of the textile industries and the development of processes of iron.The most important innovations were the steam engine and the so-called Spinning Jenny, a powerful machine connected to the textile industry. These new machines favored huge increases in production capacity.

The RailroadTrade expansion was aided by the improvement of transport routes and later by the birth of the railroad.It stimulated the growth of coal mining and steel to build the railroad.
