SUPPORT OPTIONS

The UKNSF Team in Germany will:

1. Raise awareness among UK nationals living in Germany

2. Offer advice in English and German via phone and mail

3. Share accessible information on residency requirements

4. Provide practical guidance on completing applications

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR SUPPORT?

The project is aimed at UK nationals who may be particularly at risk or facing specific challenges, such as people living with disabilities, those grappling with chronic illness, language and literacy barriers, or barriers in accessing technology.

THE UK NATIONALS SUPPORT FUND (UKNSF) IN GERMANY

IOM Germany is providing additional support to UK Nationals who may find it harder to complete their residency application to secure and maintain their residency rights in Germany now that the United Kingdom has left the EU.

Through the UK Nationals Support Fund (UKNSF), IOM seeks to assist those living in Germany in settling their residence status by offering various forms of support in 12 of Germany’s Federal States.

To support all those who may need assistance, the project will be active until March 2021 and is conducted in close coordination with the British Embassy in Berlin and in partnership with the organization Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association Forces Help (SSAFA).

This project is funded by the Foreign & Common-wealth Office in collaboration with the British Embassy Berlin.
