• Socio Economic and Caste Census (SECC) 2011, was carried through acomprehensive door to door enumeration across the country.

• The data is bifurcated in several criteria based on social , cast & economic status ofa family/ individual.

• Aleast one Deprivation criteria households eligible for PMUY connection.

• Chhattisgarh Model

State Govt. is funding hotplate and first refill for PMUY beneficiary.

The customer makes upfront payment of Rs.200/-.

Scheme launched on13.08.2016.

• Jharkhand Model

Jharkhand State Govt. is funding cost of hotplate and first refill for PMUY beneficiary.

No cost to customer.

Scheme launched on 19.10.16.

• Haryana & Punjab SKO free Model

Scheme launched in Haryana on 10.10.16 and in Punjab on 11.11.16.

For remaining SKO beneficiaries not covered under PMUY, State Govt. is funding connection cost i.eRs 1600/, (SD of Cylinder , Pressure Regulator ,Suraksha Hose, Admin charges & DGCC booklet).

Punjab Govt is also funding Hotplate cost for both SECC & Non SECC beneficiaries.
