Progress as of June, 2012
Consolidated into a single integrated organization comprised of 175 staff and academic personnel 5 HR Service Centers Live comprised of “teams” that focus
on service delivery to departments; and that provide consultative and transactional services for matters relating to staff HR and academic personnel
Academic Affairs and HR Specialty Centers that focus on campus-wide constituents to ensure compliance with AP and HR policy; and also provide best practice advice, develop and deliver programs
Introduced enabling technology to support shared services, including the HR Service Request System to initiate service requests and track status/performance and the MPM that performs complex calculations for health science faculty and streamlines funding changes
Reduced overall cost of delivering academic and HR services Initiated standardization of all staff and academic practices
