    Both houses of the Legislature passed the main Budget bill and a couple of trailer billson June 15, 2016. Most of the rest of the Trailer Bills passed on June 16, 2016.ttached is the list of all the bills acted upon and their current status.

    /nancial crisis that could result in homelessness if pre-entati-e assistance is notpro-ided.

    program !hich is intended to help cities and counties permit hardtosite facilities. The3ommunitBased Transitional &ousing %rogram is to be administered b the=epartment of 8inance '=F8). Eligibilit to appl to participate in the program shall belimited to cities, counties, and cities and counties. 4n order for a cit, count, or citand count to recei-e funds pursuant to the program, the facilit for !hich it hasappro-ed a conditional use permit or other local entitlement must meet all of thefollo!ing criteria

    The facilit shall pro-ide transitional housing for a period of not less than 10

    ears to persons !ho ha-e been released from a state prison or count ail afterser-ing a sentence for one or more felon or misdemeanor con-ictions.

    The facilit shall pro-ide, or contract !ith another pro-ider for t!o or moreadditional ser-ices to residents. These ser-ices ma include, but need notnecessaril be limited to, life s"ills training, emploment counseling, -ocationaltraining, continuing education, pschological counseling, anger managementtraining, substance abuse treatment and counseling, or cogniti-e beha-ioraltherap.

    ser-ices shall be in -alid possession of all licenses re@uired b state la! and localrules, regulations, or ordinances.

    those for !hich the application has been submitted.

    The facilit operators program performance measurement in reducing recidi-ismand assisting e#o>enders in transitioning bac" into societ.
