UBC IMBA professors are world renowned for their contributions to business theory and
practice. Highly respected scholars, our professors are also outstanding teachers who
demonstrate the connections between classroom lessons and real-world business. The
UBC IMBA program has been specially adapted for the China and Asia market and is
taught entirely by Sauder School of Business professors, who encourage active learning
through lectures, case studies, problem-based learning, and group projects. As winners
of numerous teaching awards, faculty members ensure that students benefit from the
knowledge, ideas, and experiences gained through their extensive research and outreach
efforts. But IMBA students also value the close interaction with their professors that
comes with our small classes.

management skills to enhance their abilities to manage, motivate, innovate, and lead.
The program prepares students to interact comfortably in East and West and to
