PROGRAMPartnering with the existing Let’s Talk Science organization to use early career scientists to bring polar research into the classroom.

PROGRAMJoin potential PRK partners to create, collect and distribute polar resources to teachers, for use in classrooms across Canada. PARTICIPATIONTeachers: Incorporate existing polar lessons into your curricula which meet educational requirements in each territory / province.Students: Get exposed to polar content in the classroom!

PROGRAMTour the “Circumpolar Change Game” around northern communities and provide northern youth with access to microgrants for local IPY initiatives. Time Capsule
PROGRAMEngage Canadian youth to create a snap-shot of the Canadian North during the IPY.
PARTICIPATIONTeachers: Let students know this is their chance to leave an individual legacy in the IPY effort.Students: Submit photos or time capsule items to the CYSC.
