SUMMER ENGINEERING ACADEMY
WHAT IS SEA?The Summer Engineering Academy is a series of week-long residential camps held on the Univsersity of Arizona campus for students passionate about engineering and science. This is a great opportunity for you to explore engineering careers, get to know the University of Arizona, and meet lifelong friends!
You are welcome to attend multiple Interdisciplinary and Major-Specific Programs during the same summer.
; Work on design challenges and projects with UA professors and students in real engineering labs.
; Use facilities such as wind tunnels, circuit fabrication labs, materials processing labs, and mining simulators.
; Develop engineering skills in 3-D CAD software, aerodynamics, electrical design, structural analysis, and much more...
; Relax and enjoy evening activities at the Student Rec Center, Flandrau Science Center, and the Steward Observatory & Mirror Lab.
; Live in a residence hall and dine at the Student Union with current UA Engineering students.
; Build friendships and relationships with current and future UA Wildcats!

Dive deeper into engineering with one of our major specific programs. We have divided our majors into thematic areas to give you a more advanced look at what engineering at the University of Arizona is all about. You will work on projects that will challenge you to think beyond the ordinary, and show you the extraordinary things engineering has to offer.
MAJOR-SPECIFIC PROGRAMS
CUSTOMIZE YOUR CAMP EXPERIENCE
Take a week to discover everything the College of Engineering has to offer. These Programs will give you a look at all 13 engineering majors at the University of Arizona. Throughout the week, you will work on design projects, participate in labs, and go on field trips to get experience in a variety of dicsiplines.
INTERDISCIPLINARY PROGRAMS
HOW MUCH IS SEA?There is a non-refundable $15 application fee. The Interdisciplinary Programs are $600 and the Major-Specific Programs are $700. Need based scholarships are available.
