AllCare Medical was established in 2001 as the first concierge medical practice in New England. Since its inception, patients from Boston and around the world have received the highest quality primary and cardio- vascular care whenever and wherever needed.
Direct access for patients to academic medical centers. AllCare physicians are faculty members and provide inpatient medical care at Harvard University’s teaching hospitals — Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Broad experience with telemedicine. For patients who travel or live abroad, AllCare physicians utilize their expertise with telemedicine to provide a single point of control and coordination for longitudinal medical management.
Cardiac specialty care. In addition to primary medical care, AllCare patients receive academic-level cardiac specialty care. This integrated approach allows us to care for the whole patient without limitation and is a significant benefit in enabling specialist management of cardiovascular issues whether for prevention or treatment.
Proactive, highly personalized medical care. While in most traditional primary care practices each physician has thousands of patients, and most concierge practices have 300 to 600 patients, AllCare physicians operate at a fraction of those levels. Keeping our size small ensures we keep our patients on track at all times…in the office, at the hospital, and importantly, in between visits.

I have been incredibly lucky in life in many ways, not least
of all to have found medicine, the career for which I seem
to have been born. Since 2001, AllCare has allowed me to
bring my medical practice and my skills as a physician to
an entirely new level, with time to focus not just on the
disease or medication or presenting symptoms but on all
of that and more. Most importantly, I believe in not just
caring for the patient… but caring about the patient.

I am a cardiologist and geneticist whose research work
focuses on the genomics and biology of cardiovascular

science’s most dynamic time in hundreds of years. Joining

At the Heart of Medicine…AllCare, New England’s First Concierge Medical Practice.
I am a physician-scientist active in clinical investigation,
with a primary focus on atherosclerotic vascular disease.
I’ve always believed that the best care begins with a con-
structive physician-patient relationship, established through
time, mutual respect, and trust. The unique value that a
physician can provide is not just in diagnosis or treatment,
but in applying those skills with understanding and
sensitivity for each patient. True precision medicine can
only be delivered by the physician who respects his or her
patient as a human being and not as a list of medical
problems to be solved.
u Associate Physician, Cardiovascular Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH)
u Instructor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
u Investigator, Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) Study Group
uMPH, Harvard School of Public Health
uMD, University of Connecticut School of Medicine
I can’t imagine a more gratifying profession than being
a physician…from helping a person feel better, sometimes
saving someone’s life, getting a patient on track to a
healthier lifestyle, to helping families manage the loss of
a loved one. AllCare has allowed me to know my patients
incredibly well so we can manage their health together.
uChief, Division of Cardiology, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Needham
u Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
uDirector, Cardiovascular Fellowship Program, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
u Fellow, American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association
uMD, Boston University School of Medicine
Every day I practice medicine with the singular goal of
achieving the best health possible for each patient. My
passion is working together with patients to investigate
their medical issues and to develop the best plan for their
improvement…and I cherish that collaboration. I have long
been interested in the impact of aging on the arteries, and
as a physician-researcher, my focus has been understanding
and treating the cardiovascular manifestations of accelerated
atherosclerosis in the premature aging syndrome, Hutchison
Gilford Progeria.

At the most primary level, my goal is to create a relation-
ship with my patients that I would want for myself or my
family to have with their physician – one based on trust,
knowledge, mutual respect, and a shared dedication to
developing long-term health and wellness. I am excited
about working in a clinical setting that will allow these
relationships to flourish.
