Constant innovation and high effort in market penetrationhave enabled us to cover nearly the entire European market for OEM and aftermarket product. Ourpresence is also notable in North, Middle and South America, the Near and Far East, some Africancountries and Australia.

Sava Velo was the first European producer of pneumatics to obtain the ISO 9001 quality certificatein 1992. We have furthermore gained the ISO 14001 environmentalcertificate in 2000 and OHSAS 18001 in 2004. Nevertheless, our efforts in these fieldscontinues. We are constantly striving for improvements to all our programs activities.

According to prior agreement with acustomer SAVA WHITE-WALL tyres can bemanufactured in other sizes, too.

RACING

When the weather is warm and the driving surface rough or smooth (normal ridingconditions) tyre pressure should be: front 1.7 bar and rear 1.8 bar.When the weather is cold and paved surface extremely slippery, tyre contact with asurface is not sufficient due to low operational temperature of the tyre, the point load ofthe tyre tread should be increased. This is achieved by increasing tyre pressure: front tyre2.5 bar, rear tyre 2.7 bar.

WARNING:Different pressures in tyres can cause tyres to react differently in case of skidding:• in case of higher pressure reactions are harsh and abrupt;• in case of lower pressure reactions are more soft and temperate.

When race track is wet tyre pressure should be: front 1.4 bar, rear 1.6 bar. Low pressureassures good warm-up and less risk of skidding.

WARNINGA very low pressure in the front tyre causes shifting on the steering wheel, which resultsin a deterioration in handling ability.

TESTING ON THE TEST STATIONAll tests correspond to DOT-testing methods.Testing includes: endurance test, speed test, breakthrough test, exploding test.

FIELD TESTS CARRIED OUT BY SAVA TEST DRIVERCharacterics during riding are evaluated: road grip, comfort, steering, handling, cornering ability, etc.

TYRE TESTING OF MASS BALANCEOn a special machine the lightest point on the tyre (colour dot on the bead area) is defined. Whenfitting the tyre on the rim, this point should correspond to the valve position.

WOBBLE TESTING OF TYRESRadial and lateral tyre run-out are monitored on our testing machines. The measurement reportis computer generated and automatically shown on a flow chart and graph.

LABORATORY TESTSThe Sava central laboratory carries out extensive testing of all raw materials used in productionwhich includes compounds, cord fabrics and wire beads.Tyre wear, ozone, physical characteristics, etc. are measured.
