Tynings Climbers

At long last we have sat down and compiled the new catalogue. Since previously putting pen to

paper we have had a busy couple of years. The building of another greenhouse has been a

valuable addition to the nursery and houses many of our new varieties in the collections. With this

being completed and the site tidied up we are now back to the important job of growing plants.

Last year, young Jamie joined us at Tynings Climbers, he is proving to be a valuable member of the

team after spending two years at Cannington College and passing all exams with distinction.

Since our last catalogue we have worked hard increasing the species and cultivars in both the

Passiflora and Jasminium Collections.

A well as our National Collections we have greatly extended our range of other climbers to suit

both indoor and outdoor situations. We retail these either at major flower shows or by mail order.

If you have any specific requirements please let us know and we will endeavour to help. With over

25 years experience of working with Passion Flowers, Jasmine and selected climbers it is our

ambition to hold the largest collection of climbing plants in the world!!

We have been successful in winning further Gold Medals at many of the flower shows throughout

the country. At this year’s centenary RHS Chelsea Flower Show it is our intention to

commemorate this occasion by exhibiting 100 different climbing plants on our stand – Our biggest

challenge to date!

The Nursery is open to visitors by appointment only, where you will find an extensive range of

plants available for purchase. We are available for Talks and demonstrations, but there are

limitations during the show season.

We would once again like to take this opportunity to thank family, friends and members of Plant

Heritage for all their kind help, encouragement and donation of plants and seeds, It is very much

appreciated. And finally, a huge thank you to Sheila ‘P’ for her time and patience (she certainly

needed a lot of that!!) in preparing this catalogue.

We look forward to seeing customers old and new either at the Nursery or at the Flower Shows.

Happy Gardening

Jane Lindsay & Toni O’Connor.
