The votes are in and Garth Taylor,

Theuns Jordaan andDrVictor and the

Rasta Rebels will be sharing the stage

for Local is Lekker 2015.

Over the last fewweeks,TygerBurg-

er readers, Smile 90.4fm listeners and

CapeGate shoppers had the chance to

nominate and vote for their favourite

artists, making Local is Lekker 2015

the only concert in the country where

the audience decides the line up.

Garth, Theuns and Dr Victor and

the Rasta Rebels are the three artists

youve chosen to

perform at the

concert at the

Liqui-Fruit Am-

phitheatre in

Paarl on Satur-

day 21 March

2015.

Having sold

over 100 000 cop-

ies of his studio

albums, its no

wonder that

Theuns Jordaan

is a firm favourite among music fans.

This is the third time hes been cho-

sen by TygerBurger readers to per-

form at our concert.

With a bit of luck, he may be con-

vinced to perform his collaboration

with Dr Victor. The two worked to-

gether to record their version of the

song, Wie se kind is jy?.

Dr Victor doesnt need much intro-

duction. With The Rasta Rebels, hes

created hits like I Love to Truck,

which made him a household name in

South Africa.

Joining these heavyweights will be

singer and songwriter Garth Taylor,

who hit the local music scene in 1998

with his hit Why. Now songs like If

I Gave you My Soul, Home Again,

Tonight and his cover of Islands in

the StreamwithMelanie Lowe, enjoy

high rotation on local radio stations.

ie Bothasig-polisie het beslag gel op

elektroniese toerusting ter waarde

van R50 000 n n klopjag op n huis in

Edgemead.

Die eienaar van die toerusting staar n

klag van die oortreding van dieWet op Elek-

troniese Kommunikasie in die gesig.

Volgens Corn Guldenpfennig, uitvoeren-

de hoof van die South African Federation

Against Copyright Theft (Safact), het die

man ingevoerde toerusting in sy besit gehad

en moontlik daarmee handel gedryf.

Wanneer jy handel dryf in toerustingwat

toegang tot die internet verskaf,moet jy aan-

soek doen vir n lisensie. Hierdie persoon

het nie oor die nodige lisensie beskik nie,

s Guldenpfennig.

Die man het ook dokumentdeel-sagteware

(file sharing) en regstreekse webuitsen-

ding-sagteware (live streaming) gehad.

Volgens Guldenpfennig monitor hulle ge-

reeld aanlyn-verkeer om te sien waarmee

mense handel dryf.

Ons monitor webtuistes waarop goed ge-

adverteer en verkoop word. Elke nou en dan

vang iets ons oog en dan reageer ons daarop.

Ouens wat di soort toerusting sonder

die nodige lisensies verkoop het n voordeel

op diegene wat wel oor die nodige papiere

beskik. Dit beteken hulle kan hul produkte

baie goedkoper aanbied.

Hierdie geval is volgens Guldenpfennig

slegs die tweede keer in Suid-Afrika wat ie-

mand in die moeilikheid is. omdat hy ge-

noemde wet oortree het.

die polisie in Bothasig, het die klopjag en die

waarde van die toerusting bevestig.
