Visa Process - There are different categories of visas depending
on your purpose of entering China. - Knowing is the first step to having a successful
and less complicated visa application process. - Some of the visa categories are: studying, visiting
relatives, trade, work, and health reasons.
Passport- Most important document you possess as
a foreigner. - It should be signed and have a validity
period of at least six months. - Always carry a copy of your passport and
visa page while out in China.
Visa Application Form- When it comes to applying for a visa at the Chinese
consulate or embassy, you’ll need to submit a visa application.
- It’s very important to ensure that you have answered all questions, if a question doesn’t apply to you write N/A in the box.
- You are required to fill in the application with capital or block letters.
- The signature on the application should match from your passport.
Photos - You’re required to have a 2X2 inch passport
photo attached to the application. - The photo should be colored on a plain white
background.
Official Invitation- You need to complete an application form to
obtain your registration certification in China.- Here’s a list of just some of the items that the
invitation will need to state: name, passport details, DOB, gender, among other things.
Proof of Legal Residence- When applying for a visa you will need to
show proof that you reside in the country you’re applying from.
- This can be documentation from employment, student or residence certificates.

- Most jobs in China will include a probation period where the employer and employee are trying each other at.
- You can be fired or resign at any time. - Try to work hard and do everything you can during
the probation period.
