    Spring in Brussels

    I think it was

    And cosied at communal table

    Morning drinking tea goddess

    purple (I think it)

    Silk shirt I think it was,

    Unbuttoned, but lacking

    Correct insurances, drawing

    From my gauche young eyes

    Inappropriate stare.

    Loveliness does not at all

    Equate to heartliness;

    And following my unfortunate

  • gaze earth inheriting pink tips

    Jammed violently far from view.

    What would my maturer self do now

    Faced with the same dilemma,

    When all solutions are wrong?

    I think a quiet hand on shoulder:

    Can you lend tea, your buttons

    loose;

    and hopes shed patrol what

    should be Persian Garden : not

    Gulag, with first prisoner poet

    for the noose!

  • But on this lambent

    image Ive long dwelt in pensive moments:

    diffuse in ache for real heartsong!

    Age comes on and

    constants jigger, slide away the vast

    imperatives of youth...

    Now I live in Eternitys shadow,

    in equipoise with what

    eternal goddesses

    wear !

  • Prospect

    As if you were located

    At some vantage point

    Never far away :

    Wonderfully still, and secretly

    Linked ;

    And we view each new sunrise

    Come and go

    In a shared appreciation of the soft

  • Flowerings of time,

    As if it had always been like this ;

    The texture of each new era

    Unclear, like a fishs eye:

    Infinite in its milky luminescence,

    Halcyon moment

    Perched on edge of blue tinged

    sky.
