About the Partnership

March 2002, Yokogawa Electric Corportation, Japan

and Pepperl+Fuchs Germany signed a Global Preferred

Vendor Agreement. Solutions found in this catalog have

been fully tested and integrated into Yokogawa's business

concept, thus guaranteeing customers' investments.

Today, the partnership extends to the emerging Fieldbus

technologies. Yokogawa can offer complete ”Field to

Control Room” solutions, utilising Pepperl+Fuchs

extensive FOUNDATION™ Fieldbus interface techno-

logies with FieldConnex®.

From unique hazardous area mounting Fieldbus power

supplies and spur protection with the FieldBarrier™ to

standard short circuit protection for your valuable

Yokogawa field device, using Segment Protectors.

Complete field proven interoperable, tested and cost

effective FieldConnex® solutions are ready for your next

application.
