GIRLS’ HIGH heart beat Edition 3: April 2014
_______________________________________________________________________________
Dear Parents
GHS Wi-Fi LAUNCH
We are very excited about the new direction GHS is going with
regard to incorporating the use of IT in teaching.
Being a leading school in the use of innovative technologies is
but a step away for Girls High. Our aim to model the
determination of our learners to extend their learning beyond the
classroom is but a step away.
Staff and learner training is essential before all the advantages of
having free Wi-Fi on the grounds are applicable.
We would like to share our present application and way forward
to you at the launch of the Wi-Fi system on Parents’ day.
THE WELLNESS CENTRE
The completion of the centre has taken longer than anticipated
but it should be ready next term. Unfortunately the squash court
will take a little longer but we hope to celebrate the official
opening of the Wellness Centre on Parents’ Day 17 May. We
look forward to seeing you all there!
