Last Wednesday’s Harden Ladies Golf Tournament unfortunately missed the warm autumn weather, by a couple of days, and as aresult of the colder damp overcast conditions, the number of players was below what washoped for. The field of 40 ladies was made up ofrepresentatives from Harden, Young, Cootamundra, Gundagai, Ariah Park, Canberra,Orange, Binalong and Narrandera. Without thebenefit of preferred lies, with which the playershad become accustomed, many found the scoring difficult, but the cream again rose to thetop when Sandra Crowe successfully defendedthe Harden Ladies Open Title she won last year.‘A’ GRADEScratch - Sandra Crowe.
