“Hi Bella missed me!” I said cheerfully as I walked into the living room whichlighting didn’t seem very happy she didn’t seem to recognize me at first but thenshe jumped out of the couch and gave me a big hug which I was surprised becausewell it had been years since we seen each other. “Alyson hi how have you beenlong time no see, wow your skin is really pale you don’t get enough sun down therein California or what!” I had recognized that sad look the last time I saw her shehad been sad for leaving California to Phoenix 7 or 8 years ago. “I see you stillthe same as always” she said as she walked me to my room and laid my things on the

bed of different brightless colors. “Yeah same little old me cheerful as alwaysclumsy too!” “So what have you been up to?” I asked sounding kinda desperate. “Ohnothing, much“. She had a weird look like she was actually happy which was a lookI wasn’t used to seeing when we were young . Well I’m just going out with the mostamazing guy ever. “Ha I knew it you’ve been bit by the love bug …. So who’s thelucky guy? I asked. His name is Edward Cullen she said. And as soon as I heardthat name I felt a strange tingle slither down my spine like if something aboutthat name suddenly haunted me. Oh I said . Yeah I can’t wait to introduce him toyou! She exclaimed. Can’t wait to meet him either, but when I heard myself saythat I sounded so unenthusiastic about it. “Ok c’mon” she said as she pulled me bythe arm heading for the entrance . Hey dad me and Ally are going down to La Pushfor a while ok she said. Alright be back by dinner time alright I heard him yellback from the living room not taking his eyes off the t v screen. Ok so where’s

your ride I asked. Right here she said pointing at an reddish orange truck . “Niceride…I’m kidding trust me my dad gave me something way worse than this…a bike!” Welaughed as we got in the truck hey so who gave it to you your mom dad? No my oldbest friend Jacob, she said . So where is this place so called “La Push” , Iasked. Its where most of my life is, I spent my whole time down there. So thisEdward guy hasn’t given you any trouble right? I asked hopeful receiving apositive answer. “ no of course not” she answered but I knew she was lying. “Ok sowhere exactly are we going Bella?” I asked. “ Were going to meet up with Edward atthe beach” she said. Still I had that tingle mingling down my spine as I heard hisname again and I guess Bella noticed because she looked at me and said ”Are you okAl”. “Yeah I am ok just a little tired from the long trip” I said. Then there wasa silent awkwardness the rest of the ride until she pulled up by the edge of a bigcliff that leaded to the cool breeze of the ocean I couldn’t shake off this

feeling I had felt back at the house and during the whole ride. I saw two othertrucks and cars parked beside the reaching waves. I jumped off the truck to greether friends which seemed very very nice then I saw a group of short haired guystoo short by the way but I didn’t walked towards them I stuck to Bella the wholetime. Then suddenly I felt that tingle on my spine again as a fancy car pulled up.“Hi Edward” Bella screamed behind me he hadn’t even gotten off the car and shejumped all over him. I was very surprised I hadn’t seen her that happy in a longtime! I saw a guy with brown medium hair getting off he looked gorgeous but notmuch that I liked him he had a stern but happy look on his face which was verypale. Then Bella called me over the meet him “Edward this is Jennifer an oldfriend of mine from California” she said in a cheerful voice. But as soon as hesaw me his hands started to shake and turned his stare away from me he didn’t evensay hi or anything he pulled Bella aside and seemed to just walk away with her

“Hey aren’t you going to say hi to her don’t be rude sorry Jenny” she said walkingback towards me. “Hi man you seem to be doing a good job by keeping her happy ifyou don’t you’ll regret it… I’m kidding” I said cheerfully giving a smile and thenwe shook hands our hands were both icy cold but his were even colder in a strangeway then it hit me hard as a rock, my smile slowly faded away to a scared look aswe all walked back to the crowd…”A vampire!” I whispered to myself almost forBella hearing me “What?” she asked. “Oh nothing just a little head ache I guessmind I just go rest a while in your truck?” “Yeah go ahead no problem we’ll beback here alright” “Yeah thanks” I said walking to the truck. I climbed on the bedof the truck and put my head on my knees. I couldn’t stand the horror I was livingit was right in front of me vampire, vampire was everything that floated in my



mind I was used to that word strangely one whole bad thing about this reunion wasthat I had been lying to my old best friend something big and secret somethingthat she would never know but was the only thing that might keep her alive or whatI though would keep her alive that I myself was very very familiar too familiar Itoo was a vampire but she didn’t know it but I was now force to tell her about itI had been a vampire for 3 hundred years now I had a rough time at the beginning Iwas a killer and I accepted it but I hadn’t killed anyone in a long time when Isaid that I felt weird saying it like that like something normal but really wasn’t

now my best friend was dating a vampire but wouldn’t she already notice it I meanit was kinda obvious I just stared at him he was always under the shade keepinghimself away from light it had been a cloudy day but that didn’t prevent him fromtaking precautions on that neither did I, I had a hoodie on over my face whichdidn’t seem to be necessary at all there was no sun which was very common here inForks. In California it would be very different I had to stay inside the wholetime except at night, but I am always the kind of person who never lets somethinglike this get in the way of my happiness I was now back together with my bestfriend Bella that was all that counted so I jumped off the truck leaping towardsthem but suddenly I saw I guy who was struggling, trying to take out some boxesoff the back of his truck I couldn’t really see his face but I could see he hadthe same hair as the other group of guys did too. “Hey you need any help there?” Iasked rushing to help him I took some of the boxes off the top. “Oh yeah thanks”

he said then he looked at me setting the boxes down by the group of guys with theweird hair. “Hi I’m Jacob” he said setting out a hand to greet me with a hugesmile. “Oh yeah Bella has talked about you” I said. “Your new around here aren’tyou I’ve never seen you before” he said. “Yeah I’m here visiting Bella I’m an oldfriend of hers from California” I said looking kinda surprised I’d never seensomeone so beautiful his dark brown skin just made me melt but when it came tothat I wasn’t good at expressing it at all so he didn’t notice how I was staringat him. Then I kinda got stuck when he started to make conversation with me thenhe asked “You don’t seem like the kinda girl who would hang out with Bella” hesaid. “I know but I like how she just acts so serious and she was the only one whodefended me from bullies in 2nd grade” I chuckled. “Hi Ally” Bella said walkingtowards me with Edward. “Hi” I replied. “Feeling better?” she asked. “Yeah I’malright… just a little fever that’s all” I said. Then I saw Jacob’s hand touch my

forehead I felt his warm skin make contact with mine “It doesn’t seem you even hada fever your too cold” he said which kinda ruined my plan of making Edward think Iwasn’t a vampire but I think he would still notice cause he stared me down withhis green eyes like he was reading my thoughts which he was but I couldn’t readhis. Then I slid off the rock I was sitting on and rushed through the beginning ofa trail leading towards the forest that seemed to lead nowhere every time Istepped. They must’ve been thinking what was wrong with me which I myself didn’teither I felt worried scared loved and something that just didn’t make sensesomething about this town made me fear about something but I didn’t know what Ifelt like I was closer to more vampires but I refused my mind to believe itbecause if I stayed Bella had a risk of being in danger which I couldn’t stand shewas my best friend and I was determined to ask her about it and finally tell hereverything and she would too cause I knew she was lying to me about something more

than Edward and his secret, something else had happened something that had left ascar on Bella’s chest that I too could feel like if it was my own. I felt himclose, closer and closer I turned around and saw him standing right in from of me.I whispered “A vampire recognizes another vampire” . “How long have you beenhiding it from her, does she know?” I asked. “Yes” he answered with a sweet tonein his voice. “You haven’t hurt her right?” I asked desperately.He didn’t answer but I didn’t need him to I knew what the answer would be “yes”.“What did you do to her?” I asked. “I think she would like to tell you instead ofme,….. I know your intentions they are good and pure….. There was a long silencebetween his words “You need to work on your self control I can help you” heoffered. “Bella’s my best friend I want to keep her safe and if that’s what its



what your going to say I’m begging you!” I exclaimed. “Ok but this going to hurtyou so much you’ll want to stay even more away from Bella…your” he said in amysterious voice which just made me more nervous his words paused for about fiveseconds then “Your half..” he was interrupted again by Jacob’s voice I turned tosee him, “ Hi what are you doing out here your gonna miss the chocolate cake thatEmily baked” he said in a smooth warm voice with no anger at all. “Uh yeah surewe’ll be right there” I replied. “We’ll?” he asked in confusion I turned back towhere Edward was sitting and he vanished like if I was just talking to myself the

whole time. “ Right I forgot I was alone… umm I think ill stay out here a while Iwant to think” I said then to my surprise he sat down next to me and asked “What’s wrong?” Its like if he had read my mind somehow and knew what I was askingEdward then his face turned terrified then peaceful again “My father thinks yourreally nice” he said trying to change the subject or something, “It doesn’t reallylook like it” I said. “He looked at me in a terrified look and then went over toyou and seemed to be whispering something that made your face faint in terror” Isaid, “ Oh that’s just my dad always over reacting” and before he finished I said“About what?” “ Oh nothing important but aren’t you supposed to be very tan sinceyour from California you look a little too pale” he said and as soon as thosewords passed his lips I knew he was suspecting something like if he knew aboutvampires and a lot but I rejected that prediction I mean c’mon Jacob knowing aboutsupernatural things but don’t judge a book by its cover and before I could think

of preventing these words from coming out of my mouth I said “What do you knowabout vampires?” aww man why did I say that and that thought was expressed in myface because I turned away in embarrassment. “Why do you ask that?” which I wasafraid for him to say. “Uh no nothing just wondering… I just don’t think theyexist like ghosts, aliens, Frankenstein, vampires, witches or..” I got interruptedwhen he said “Werewolves” he filled in the words I was not going to say.“Werewolves?” I looked in a confused face, “I wasn’t going to say that but if yousay so…you really think they exist?” I asked knowing that they really weren’t orwhat I thought by the way. “Well I think they do but nobody can ever catchevidence of them but that doesn’t stop me from believing what I want to” “I justwish I could meet someone like that someone who wasn’t normal who wasn’t the sameas everyone else” I said but was a lie cause I had met a lot of people who weren’tnormal I had said that just to add layering to my secret and keep it from being

out there. Then he said “There are pretty weird stuff that happens here in Forksthat I myself have experienced” and when he said that I had a picture of Edward inmy head and imagined him sucking and animal’s fresh flesh. Then when I saw visionin my head I just felt the world stop around me… had Edward lied to me to drink myflesh and blood… and then take Bella’s …I couldn’t let that happen I was lessstronger than he was I strong but no enough to defeat him but at the same time Iwasn’t completely positive about it and I determined to find out “So Jacob whatwas that weird stuff you were talking about?” I asked positive that he would giveme a reasonable answer. Then he said, “Oh exactly what you asked me about…vampires” “Really…so what your saying is that there has been vampires herebefore?” I asked. “In a way yes” he said but I knew he wasn’t telling me thetruth. “ Can I ask for a favor…forget I ever asked you about vampires” and then Iknew he was going to ask me why so I said “Cause I promised Bella that I wouldn’t

talk about all that stuff so if she finds out then I’m in trouble” we chuckledthen he helped me get through the night without loneliness so we talked until wesaw Bella coming out of the house with Edward then I said goodbye but when I didmy heart suddenly was kinda stuck to him and I couldn’t keep away and when I heardhim say goodbye my head just wanted to stay where he was in a way I was dyinginside. I was surprised at how I opened myself to Jacob like a book and he read meso clearly with no pauses he was a very good listener and I knew we would becomevery good friends but I was afraid of that because if we became friends I wouldhave to tell him the whole truth and now my soul was aching, it hurt me thinkingthat Jacob saw me as a normal girl but I wasn’t, I hated lying to him like a stabin my back every time I spoke a word. When I climbed in the truck Bella knew I



felt different so happy and unhappy at the same time then our silence ripped whenshe said “So looks like you and Jacob and you got along great …looks like a littletoo great” “What do you mean a little more great…he’s a really good listener” Icould hold in the question that told me if I was going to see him again andescaped my mouth “So are we going to come back tomorrow?” I asked in anticipation.“Yeah totally like I said I spend almost my whole time over here” and before shecould say something else I said almost screaming “Great!” “So what were you goingto talk to me about that you said was so private?” when she said that I remembered

the secret I had found out that day I had completely forgotten about it mostlybecause Jacob made them fade away like my worries. “Oh yeah I totally forgot aboutit ill tell at the house I don’t think here is the best place” I chuckled and thenthe rest of the ride was silence and more silence…. When we got home Charlie wasstill watching TV “Sorry were late dad Emily was cooking so she invited us over”“Yeah Billy called and let me know about it its ok” “Alright were gonna go getsome sleep ok” Bella said. “Good night” I said and followed Bella upstairs to myroom. Then I went to change in the restroom and Bella was waiting for me in theroom sitting criss-cross on the bed I was ready but was she, would she be able totake it… As I took a step closer to the room I was thinking well if she tookEdward’s secret of being a vampire very well will it be same with me or at least Ithought she had Bella was never afraid of things like that? Had it hurt Bellaknowing Edward’s secret? I had so many questions in my head. “Ok what that that’

so important you wanted to talk about?” asking with a tone in her voice that knewwhat I was going to say, “Well Bella I don’t know how to come right out withthis…” there was a brief silence before I continued. “Its ok I’ve gone through alot in this town and I think I can handle you too” she said then I closed my eyesand I took off “Do you know what Edward really is?” I asked knowing that she wouldeither lie or tell the truth which I hoped she’d say the truth so I wouldn’t haveto go into detail that much. “Uh…yeah…yes I do” she said turning her head down, Iread her face and it said I am scared! Then she broke the silence and said “Whendid you find out?” “As soon as I saw him” I said and then she looked up at me andhad a suspicious reaction. “Bella I don’t want you to be worried I wont tellanyone if you I know nobody else knows about Edward…his secret is safe with me”and when I said that her face turned peaceful again and then as soon as it did shesaid “There’s more” and when that phrase passed through my ears I knew I was

right, I was close to more vampires…but the thought of them being bad made meterrified “How did you find out?” she asked and when she did I knew she was goingto freak out when I would tell her because she sounded clueless “A vampirerecognizes another vampire” there it was out there out of my lips and into Bella’sears the first time I ever told anybody except Edward now I was just waiting forthe words to appear on her face to tell something. “You mean….you’re a….vampire?”then she scooted farther away from me I knew she was scared but I would never hurther. “Don’t worry I’m not a bad vampire I’m just like Edward I haven’t killedanyone in a long time” when I said that I tried to sound normal cause I knew shewas used to it. “How long?” she asked and scooted back where she was at I knew shehad taken it well, “3 hundred years a little bit…I know what you gonna say whydidn’t you tell me and stuff but I just couldn’t I mean…I was terrified youweren’t going to be my friend anymore” I said. “How long have you been 17?” she

asked, “About 100 years” I said but I needed to ask something now, “Are you mad atme Bella?” sounding hopeful that she wouldn’t. “No I mean you had your reasons whyyou did that I cant judge you for it I just cant believe it flew right by me…Iguess my mind was just rejecting the thought of you being a vampire…all thesymptoms like , you cant go out in the sun, your eyes change color…it just allpassed right by me…wait your skin isn’t cold?” she asked as she reached in totouch my forehead “Oh god your burning up!” she yelled but that wasn’t what I wassupposed to hear I mean I felt perfectly fine I mean maybe I had been coughing awhile but it was from the change of the weather of California and Forks, it wastemporary. “We gotta get you to a doctor before it gets worse!” she screamed butwhen she said that I just didn’t feel like being in a hospital for a while which I



just couldn’t get out of…what can I say I’m really clumsy. “Bella I’m ok don’tworry about it its just a simple fever I’ll be alright” but her face was blankwhen I turned to look at her, like if she’d seen these symptoms before, symptomsof something bad. “What’s wrong?” I asked “Nothing I just forgot something reallyimportant at Emily’s…I just remembered…wanna come I don’t want to go back alone”she said. “Alright c’mon…just give me a sec to change” I said getting off the bedto my bags. “Oh its ok you can just leave like that I am too” she replied headingfor the door but I was not getting off the truck I mean I was in my elmo pajamas

how embarrassing! Then as we headed towards the door Charlie asked where we weregoing. “Oh dad I forgot something very important at Emily’s house we’ll be rightback” she said already half way to the truck. Charlie didn’t mind what we evenreplied but the fact that Bella was nervous and in a rush worried me a lot. “Sowhat did you forget at Emily’s house?” which was weird I mean it 11:00pm and maybeweren’t awake. “I forgot to ask Billy something so I am going over to his housedon’t worry about it we’ll be right back” she replied that I didn’t understand shewas talking to fast. When we arrived at the house I was surprised to see Jacob andBilly awake with the whole gang still hanging out front porch and then Bellajumped off in a hurry running to Jacob and Billy talking to them worried andscared then I saw Billy and Jacob’s face go blank and worried. I was wonderingwhat was going on I couldn’t quite hear what they were talking about but I knew itwas something bad really bad so I decided to find out I jumped off almost tripping

like if I was dizzy then I rushed over to them and asked “Hey Bella is somethingwrong?” but after I said that I suddenly started coughing really bad I covered mymouth so I wouldn’t infect anybody else with my filthy germs then to my surpriseJacob touched my forehead like he had at the beach “Dang you really have a badfever c’mon lets go inside!” then he suddenly swept me off my feet and carried meinside at that moment I just couldn’t believe I was in his arms but at the sametime I was embarrassed cause I remembered I still had my elmo pajamas! Then he satme down on his couch and then helped Billy inside and rolled him in I looked athim and his face was worried. I saw Bella run behind Jacob to the restroom thenJacob yelled from the restroom “Where is the alcohol!” “Its in there” he yelledback then he wheeled himself right in front me and swam in my eyes looking forsomething, something that I didn’t know about then he yelled “Bella can you tellthe boys to come inside for a while” then I saw her rush outside and yell to the

guys to come in. “Bella I told you not to make a big deal about it its just andinsignificant fever nothing to worry about I’m sure they have better things to do”I said. Then Jacob talked to the guys in the hallway then they had the same exactexpression on their face like Billy and Jacob had when Bella was talking to themoutside. “Bella can I talk to you” then I pulled her by the arm to the back of thehallway my back to a big room that had a warm air breeze and before I could starttalking something about the room was pulling me in with a big force then I walkedin without permission which was rude of me but at that moment nothing really wasclear to me. I looked at the room, I noticed they were natives, and so was I wellmy mom was but what’s the difference although I didn’t look like it cause I wastoo pale like everyone said. “Sorry but something about this place is familiar Ijust had to look at it” I said when I saw Billy coming in with the rest of thegang. “Its alright” he said with no anger at all. “Your from native blood right?”

I asked then he just nodded his head “Yeah my mom was native…but she died alongtime ago” I said sounding so down. Then I slowly looked around saw old pictures ofIndians and tepees and a lot of necklaces and feathers the mood of the room wasvery familiar and I even came to think if we were related but that was l was lesslikely. “So you know about it?” Billy asked expecting that I did. “About what?” Iasked back because I had no idea what. “She has no idea I told you a girl would beno use nothing you said is true and not strong enough too” Sam said from the backof the hallway, when I turned my glare at him he had an evil mad look like hewasn’t agreeing with what Billy was talking about by that look I knew that he wasthe leader of the pack and I was right. “Bella I have no idea what all of this isabout please tell me” I pleaded, then in the back of my mind was the conversation



that Edward and me had about what I was or who I was going to be. “Bella does thishave to do with the little chat we had at the house?” she still hadn’t answered myquestion she kept quiet like if there was and invisible tape on her mouth and shecould say what she was feeling or what she was trying to tell me. And then withoutanother word I walked passed them with a sudden rush in my step and headed outsiderudely slamming the door behind me which I hated to do. I stepped into the forestbehind the house and tried to stay away as much as I could from the house andleaned against a tree thinking about what was going on and how it was going to

affect me. Then suddenly my voice startledme when I started speaking my mind saying how could all of this have happened,how did I become only half vampire, was Edward tricking me into thinking that hedidn’t hurt Bella, and the question that Billy asked me “did I know about it”those words flew freely in my head, then after a few moments I sat down on thecold, wet floor that felt like metal and turned to the full moon shinning brightin my dark brown eyes. Behind me were the problems and wonders I had on my firstday here in Forks and I was shocked at how much problems I had caused, and I guessI liked Forks but at the same time I wish I could get away from here… right hereright now. It had been half an hour sitting there then suddenly I heard somethingit was crushing and crumbling leaves with every step it took I could hear itgetting closer and closer until I could barely see its shadow through the bigstanding trees, at first I thought it was a bear but it was too big to be a bear

it looked like a dog then I saw it, it was a wolf then my eyes almost came out ofmy head not because I was scared, I mean I could just kill him any time I wanted Ijust couldn’t believe something that big could be a wolf. Then when I was about toget up from the cold floor my mind told me don’t,…stay so I did then at the edgeof my eye I saw the wolf looking at me with fierce eyes that seemed to glow in thedarkness and then I saw his dark brown fur, I saw it so close I could touch it. Ibet he was thinking why isn’t she afraid, why isn’t she running away. I wasn’tafraid…instead I got closer to stare into his eyes they seemed to look green inthe moonlight and then the picture of Jacob appeared in my head and I leaned backon to the tree. I turned back to the moon and took a few seconds to enjoy its glowthat was the only thing that was comforting me and I felt suddenly that I wassinking into it and I was flying but the worries and questions I had in my mindjust kept on crawling back and suddenly I remembered why I was here alone with a

big wolf that looked like he was going to eat me any second. “What are you lookingat?” I asked the wolf but yeah right like a wolf would answer me. “I bet you haveno idea what I’m saying do you” I said bursting into tears…I didn’t know why. Thenhe laid his head on my lap and he felt warm and cozy that I wanted to hug him thenhis warmth felt like someone else’s I’ve felt today. “You know your pretty nice tobe around with even though you don’t talk at all” I chuckled and once again I wasfocusing on the moon, I lost myself and just started petting him like a dog but hefelt special like if I was running my fingers through someone’s hair. After I wasdone with my feeding of my soul I turned back to where the wolf was and I sawJacob shirtless, but I was so drowsy and sleepy I just couldn’t take everything inand I didn’t really react to it and said, “Hi what are you doing here…you have noidea what just happened to me a big wolf just came and didn’t eat me alive”sounding so casual and normal, then I jumped up in terror “What the heck just

happened!” I yelled and I tripped back but I didn’t feel anything my legs hadfallen asleep. “What do you mean I was here the whole time don’t you remember?” heasked but I knew what he was now and everything hit me right and answered one ofmy million questions. “What happened to the wolf?!” I asked almost screaming Ilooked in all directions and bumped into him as I walked straight in front of me Ididn’t even see him and how couldn’t I, I mean he’s huge. He took my wrists andlooked into my eyes and reading my mind and he said, “Calm down everything isgoing to be ok” and hugged me and since I was short he had to pick me up and mysenses didn’t alert my mind and I swung my arms around him and he erased all myfears and replaced them with his love and warmth then suddenly I was blushingwithout even noticing it. “So you were the wolf the whole time?” I asked knowing



what he would answer. “Yeah I was surprised you didn’t run away” he said with asudden nervousness in his voice that made me boil. “What were you doing here ittook me along time to find you you’re a good hider I mean I’ve know these woods mywhole life and I just couldn’t find you” he said and I replied “Well I just kindafreaked out back at your house the worst things were running through my head and Ijust need to think somewhere alone and not loose it in front of everyone” “So Iguess you answered my question on if werewolves really exist” I said teasing him,“Yeah I guess” he chuckled “So can you explain why your shirtless?” I asked

laughing on the way. “Oh I just wanted to show off the guns you know for you” hesaid while flexing, “Oh shut up!” I said giving him a good punch on the arm whichdidn’t seem to move him at all, “But I can admit those are nice ha ha ha!” welaughed and two feelings came over me one was that I felt like I was flying in amidst of clouds that seem to make me happy as ever, and the other was that Iwasn’t being completely honest with Jacob of who I was and had been. “Jake” I saidadding a little I-don’t-know-how-your-going-to-take-it emotion to it then hestared back at me in fright “What is it?” he asked with a tone so soothing thatwas one of the million things I admired about him. “Umm I haven’t completely beenhonest with you and I don’t think that’s fair so I’m just gonna come right out andsay it…I’m a…a…a…vampire” the last word did budge through my throat. His facecompletely fell apart and said “You can’t be a vampire Ally cause your already awolf!” then I knew those last words escaped his mouth and I had heard them right

When I came back from the washingmy teeth and face I raced into the room and searched in my bag from somethingcasual to wear so I picked out a pink dress with white polka dots and pinkconverse and as soon as I was dressed I fixed my hair into a half pony tail and Iran downstairs tripping like always “Woow!” I screamed and Bella and Edward weresitting on the couch waiting for me to come out. “Hi Edward!” I said still gettingused to being friendly with him but I still had my doubts but I didn’t want tothink thoughts that might offend him or something cause I knew what he could do.“Hi umm I was wondering if you didn’t mind if I introduce you my family?” he askedand when he did I found out we weren’t really going to go to Jacob’s house after

So I waskind of disappointed that we weren’t going to go see Jacob but I was also glad Iwas going to meet more vampire the only thing that worried me was the if I wasgoing to be accepted or at least liked cause the fact that I was half vampire andhalf wolf also worried me cause what if the transformation happened in front ofeveryone. We all walked towards Edward’s car and I climbed in the back seat and asthe car started to move I immediately I started to wonder if vampires and wolfsliked each other I don’t know why I had that thought in my head but I guess it wasthe nervousness that caused this. Well the ride was longer than I expected wedrove deeper and deeper into the woods where the sun was barely noticeable and wepulled up by a huge house made of glass and I thought to myself well why would a

family of vampires live in a house like this wouldn’t that just give out theirsecret. “We’re here”, I heard Edward say as he helped Bella get off the car andthen using his speed to reach my side and help me but I pushed his hand away Ididn’t need any help I’m not a little kid as I didn’t take my eyes off themansion. I saw 5 peoplesitting down on a couch watching a movie or something. I was afraid to just walkin like that and Alice made my arrival so noticeable, well more noticeable than Ithought. “Hi everyone this is our guest Ally she’s Bella’s friend” she said still

sounding happy as ever. Thethought of seeing Jacob meant the world to me but there was another crawlingthrough my mind how was I supposed to explain my tail and ears I was thinking ongoing with Carlisle’s idea but I wasn’t completely convinced it would fool Jacoband especially not Billy but it was a chance I was willing to take. As we slowlyarrived at the house I jumped out of the car slipping of course and I left behind

Bella and Edward to talk alone while I hurriedly borrowed Edward’s sweeter and putit out and I hung the hood over my head and zipped it up to my chest and made sureyou couldn’t see my new tail. I knocked on the door slowly and then a couple ofseconds later Paul opened the door welcoming me in with his arms “Hi what asurprise Ally” he said leading me towards the kitchen where Billy and the gangwere sitting. “You guys alone” I asked and Jacob knew exactly what I meant, “Yeswhy?” he asked and that was a good sign they didn’t know yet “Can I talk to youguys for a while” I said in a mysterious voice and now Billy was concerned. “Okwhat do you want to say” he asked but I didn’t know if I should take off thehoodie it was now or never my mind was telling me. I slowly pulled back my hoodand closed my eyes tightly cause I was afraid of what was going to happen and thenthere was a silence that was worrying me sick then I decided to face the music andI opened one of my eyes and then the other to my surprise they busted out laughing

and I knew I was out of danger. “What’s so funny” I yelled stomping my foot on theground but the were to cracked up that they didn’t notice, “Nothing…we just didn’tthink that the all mighty female wolf would look like this after hertransformation” Embry said chuckling on the way. “Turn around” Paul ordered so Idid but I wasn’t comfortable I knew they would see my tail cause my dress wasn’tlong enough unfortunately it was a little bit above my knees. “Nice tail” Jacobjoked as I turned around to face them again, “Hmmm…” I heard Billy say to himself,“What’s wrong Billy?” I asked cause something was wrong. “Nothing I just seriouslydidn’t think you would end up like this you should’ve turned completely into awolf not just…,just…umm half” he said as he looked me up and down. As soon he saidthat I looked over at Jacob and I knew it was time to say the truth and all of itand the consequence was going to be loosing their trust forever but what elsecould I do if I didn’t do it now they would out in the most horrible way.
