Twiggy, suspension design Marc Sadler 2006 Foscarini and Marc Sadler's shared passion for research into new technologies has given rise to Twiggy, the iconic arched floor lamp which is available in an entire collection of lamps made of composite material on a lacquered fibreglass base. The suspension version is available in two sizes to guarantee ample possibilities of use. Using the same diffuser as the floor and table versions, lighting the area underneath the lamp directly and – thanks to the transparency of the upper protection disk – diffuses efficient up- light by reflection. Available in four different colours, it can blend in seamlessly with any décor and style. pag. 1

DescriptionSuspension lamp with direct and indirect light. Coloured diffuser made of fibreglass-based composite material and liquid coated. In the large version, translucent polycarbonate upper diffuser disc, PMMA lower diffuser disc with polyprismatic internal surface. In the small version, matt white polycarbonate upper disc, internal parabola-shaped aluminium diffuser and lower glass diffuser with acid-etched finish. Transparent electrical cable, ceiling rose with galvanised metal bracket and matt white batch-dyed ABS cover. Supplied with a decorative rod which partially covers the electrical cable, the same colour as the diffuser.Canopy decentralisation kit available. Marc Sadler
A designer, he's worked a long time in the sports sector, where he's experimented with new materials and innovative production processes. Has also worked successfully in furnishing and consumer products. In 2001 he has won Compasso D’Oro with Mite and Tite of Foscarini.
