St. Francis of Assisi once said, “Remember, you are what
you are in the eyes of God, and nothing else.” We
often forget this stewardship wisdom when we
spend all of our time, talent and treasure to gain
more of the world’s riches. We need to set our
priorities based on God’s values and not the values of the
material world
Office Closed
The Parish Office will be closed Monday, Sep-
tember 4 for the Labour Day holiday. In case of
an emergency, please leave a message on the
answering machine.
Food Drive
Donations of food will be collected this weekend for
families in our parish. All contributions are
welcome. Thank you for sharing your treas-
ure with those around you. Our recipients
are very grateful for what they are receiving
from these donations. Please be mindful that we do not accept packaging that
has been opened or items that are partially used.

Ministry of Care Training Are you called to visit the sick, elderly or home-
bound? “Ministry of Care Training” (sponsored by the
Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Regina) is open to all
faith communities. This one-day program is
an introduction to those who would like to
know more about being a Spiritual Care Visi-
tor within a health care facility but also valu-
able for parish/church home and nursing home
ministry. The workshop will occur Saturday, September

Lay Formation Program
Sharing The Joy Of The Gospel! Our mission is to provide
you with a renewed missionary zeal fueled by the joy of
the Gospel! One weekend per month from Octo-
ber until June, Catholics who want to know,
love and serve Christ more deeply come to-
gether at Campion College in Regina. During
this three-year program you will;
+Become more deeply aware of God’s personal love
and activity in your life.
+Encounter Jesus Christ, discover his plan of sheer
goodness for you and deepen your relationship with Christ
and his Church.
+Discover how to more intentionally integrate your
faith in daily life in service to Christ.
+Be given the Spiritual and Formation tools you

Raising the Internet Generation
Featuring Catholic Speaker and Author MATT FRADD,
founder of the "Porn Effect". His presentation will ad-
dress practical strategies for parents to protect their chil-
dren from the lies of an over-sexualized culture. When:

St. Martin’s Bridge Tournament
St. Martin’s CWL is hosting a Bridge Tournament on
Saturday, Sept. 9th at St. Martin’s Hall (4720 Castle Rd)
and are looking for players!! The cost is $25 per team.

Run for the Family Come join SERENA Saskatchewan for the sixth annual
“Run for the Family” on Saturday, September 9, 2017
(10 a.m.) in Saskatoon. Run or walk 1km,
3km, or 5km (strollers welcome). Whether
you are running or not, pledges can be col-
lected in support of SERENA; prizes will be
awarded (20% of collection). To register,

Our Lady of Penafrancia Devotion
All are invited – Filipinos, friends and devotees of INA for
a celebration of her Feast Day on Sunday, September 17, at
Holy Rosary Cathedral, beginning with the Novena/Rosary
and Mass at 3 p.m., followed by a potluck supper in the
Auditorium.
Holy Child Parish’s
40th Anniversary Celebration
All are welcome to take part in Holy Child Parish’s 40th
Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, September 16, 2017.
The celebration will begin with as Special Mass at 5 p.m.
with Archbishop Bolen presiding. This will be followed by
a banquet with a short program, cash bar and door prizes.

Cuernavaca Project
Cuernavaca Project is looking for volunteers to build a
school in Mexico. January 19 to the 28 please consider
