Why the name? It’s a question we often get asked, so we like to let you know from the offset what our philosophy is.
Why the DO? Well it’s a simple concept really.
Do. Ray. Me. Fa. So. La. Ti. Do.
We hope we haven’t lost you.
These 7 notes represent a scale. And with only 7 notes, millions of different songs have been created whether it be a lovesick ballad or a classical number. The notes are the simple ingredients, but it’s the way that they have been played and put together which makes a memorable song.
Let’s rewind a little bit. What do you look for when you put together your production? You’ve got your cameraman. The director. You
need your researcher and fixer. And similar to the 7 notes, all of these key people are the ingredients. They are the scale.
But it’s not about having them as they are, it’s about how they all work together. And this is where step in. Sure, you can find all the ingredients elsewhere, but the way we apply each process of a production, we create that chart-topper. The memorable song. The successful production. Memorable for all the right reasons from our efforts to the final product.
