TUTORIAL 6 - HOW TO SHOW LOT IN THE GOOGLE EARTH USING MAPINFO DATA

Open MapInfo Professional 9.0

Click at ‘Open a Table’.

Select your file. In this case, we use data of PDUK Selangor.

This is the ‘view’ come out from the data of PDUK Selangor.

Select Layer Control. Untick layer Stn, Plan and IndexMap and click OK.

Just tick at Lot because we want to locate the location of the lot using Google Earth.

The window will shows the data of lot only.

Find or select the lot you want to show in the Google Earth.

Click this icon ( ) to Run Mapbasic Program and click Open.

Marquee Select

Choose GE Link!

Choose the Output Path and put a File Name.

Then, click OK to export the lot to Google Earth.

The lot will be shown just like in the picture.
