I look into my window, which is wide open. I suddenly feel a cold presence. The curtains move and the light flicker. 2. Hill House is an old country hotel, owned and run by a Mrs Wood.

2(A) As I got into the town, I had noticed Hill House had been clearly signposted, which is a great advertisement for the hotel and clearly indicates the great reputation the hotel has.

As I approached the gate of the hotel I was taken back by the excellent surroundings, trees each side of me, neatly cut grass, being springtime the surroundings looked very nice. Straight ahead I could see the hotel, which from the outside looked wonderfully well maintained. As I approached the gate a gentleman greeted me and asked for my details, once this was checked he informed me that each room gets a free spot to park their car. He was very helpful and offered to take my bags in. I walked into the hotel and was impressed with the layout, the bright lights made the marble floor sparkle, furniture looked so clean that I would have been happy to sleep on the couch. Clearly sign-posted were reception, restaurant, rooms, restrooms. As I approached reception I was greeted with a smile Hello Sir, My name is Mrs Woods, How may I help? I was surprised to see the owner at front desk and so approachable and friendly was fascinated with her service. I guess you can call it a dominos affect as all the staff I got in contact with was friendly and helpful.

Was shown my room by a member of staff, who offered to show me around, which I declined and thanked them for their help. I looked around the room, which was clean. Bed was a double and smelled fresh. The view outside of the hotel was beautiful hill views.

Overall I was very impressed with the quality of the hotel, this would be an excellent stay for anybody looking for a break away. 2(B)I have arrived at Hill House, which now is referred to as Hotel of Horror.

It is 9pm as I approach the hotel, but from the outside I feel a negative vibe, broken chimney with crows roaming on top of the hotel, as I approach the hotel it feels as if they are staring at me.

I feel the sweat dripping form my eyebrow. My stomach turning as I bang the handle Bang, Bang. Immediately I hear Who is it? I give my details. A few minutes an old lady opens the door to let me in. we walk through a narrow entrance. I notice it is dark in the hotel no lights are turned on. As I look up I can see webs, which to me indicate spiders web, but it is dark so cannot be one hundred per-cent. The old lady takes me to what I presume would be the entrance, I say are you Mrs Woods the owner. She looks at me in a disgusted way as if Ive asked the worst question and replies No. Mrs Woods is dead. She dead two weeks ago. I am here sister. After a few seconds I reply as a joke Ha-ha I hope shes buried. She gives me that look again and after a few seconds stares across to the mantel place where there is jar and on the wall is a picture of whom I presume is Mrs Wood the owner. My stomach is doing summer sorts. Can I go my room please.

As she takes me into my room, the lamp is already on, I hit the switch to turn the main lights on but nothing comes on. After my introduction with that old lady I think I stick to just the lap.

I look around the room. This is anything but cosy, the room looks dark, dark wallpaper and bedding well at least the carpet is red.

I was lying in bed and had the sudden erg to look at the view outside of my room. I open the curtain eager to look. Where I see a crow staring directly at me. I fall back in shock. My heart beating faster, my breathing becomes faster, in shock.

I lie back in bed think to myself I know why they call this place Hotel of Horror. I Hope I come through this night.
