TURNKEY RULES | RESTRICTIONS | INCLUSIONS Questions? Please contact Parker Swenson at [email protected] or +1.207.842.5605 1/3 CUBIC CONTENT “Cubic content” refers to the dimensions of your turnkey space including walls, decorations and any other fixtures. The cubic content of your exhibit space can be fully utilized, i.e., all of the fixtures in the stand may reach but not exceed the maximum height of 2.75m or 8’. CUSTOMIZING STANDS All turn-key packages are prefinished. Absolutely no painting or additional carpentry will be allowed within your stand. Should you want to customize your Turnkey Package further, exhibitors are encouraged to view available marketing and sponsorship opportunities. Should you want to affix a poster or graphic to your backwall, you must use a low-stick adhesive (i.e 3M hook) or Velcro. Please note that absolutely no tacks, nails, or screws will be permitted. Any damage to the side walls or back walls will be billed back to the Exhibitor. Please NOTE that absolutely nothing can be taped, tacked, nailed or screwed to the side-walls. They are fabric. There is a channel on the top of panel that will hold hooks or a dowel. Banners/signs should be made with top hem or grommets for hanging off the top of these panels. Freeman will provide hooks where you can hang a sign or banner from the top of the side wall. Please see this diagram for more information. DEMONSTRATIONS As a matter of safety and courtesy to others, exhibitors should conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations in a manner which assures all exhibitor personnel and attendees are within the contracted exhibit space and not encroaching on the aisle or neighboring exhibits. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange displays, product presentation, and demonstration areas to ensure compliance. DISTRIBUTION OF PROMOTIONAL BROCHURES AND/OR MAGAZINES Magazines and brochures promoting the exhibiting company may only be distributed within the perimeter of the exhibit space. No promoting is allowed in the aisles or other public areas. FLOOR COVERING Carpeting is provided at the Javits Convention Center HELIUM BALLOONS, ADHESIVE MATERIALS, & OTHER MATERIALS Event Management does not allow hand carried helium balloons. However, large, tethered helium balloons are permitted at the Javits. Adhesive materials such as stickers, tape, or bumper stickers are not permitted to be used within your exhibit, nor may they be distributed. The use of glitter, confetti, sand, or simulated snow types of materials are NOT permitted in the Javits Center. Any costs incurred by Event Management for the removal of these items will be charged to the exhibiting company. LIGHTING/FLAGS/TRUSS No lighting, lighting fixtures, lighting trusses, or overhead lighting are allowed outside the boundaries of the exhibit space. Lighting should be directed to the inner confines of the stand space. Lighting should not project onto other exhibits or exposition aisles. Flags must comply with the maximum height regulation corresponding to the stand type and displayed within the perimeter of the stand space. STAND CLEANING/ PORTER SERVICE Stand cleaning & trash removal/porter service is included in the Turn-Key booth package. Please place your empty wine bottles and trash outside the stand each night for collection and removal. SOUND/MUSIC Exhibitors may use sound equipment in their stands so long as the noise level does not disrupt the activities of neighboring exhibitors. Speakers and other sound devices should be positioned so as to direct sound into the stand rather than into the aisle. Sound and noise should not exceed 85 decibels. If complaints are received, the Organisers reserve the right to stop the music.

TURNKEY FURNISHING DIMENSIONS

• Back Hall Height: Approximately 2.5m • Side Wall Height: Approximately 1.75m • Cabinet: (100cm x 50cm x 100cmH) – includes a lockable shelf on the booth side • Shelving Unit: (114cm x 37cm x 215cmH) – includes two shelves and shelves are adjustable height-wise • Shelves: (114cm x 33cm) • Meeting Table (Premier Package Only): (76cm x 76cmH)

INCLUDED IN YOUR TURNKEY PACKAGE ELECTRICITY As part of your turnkey stand package, electricity for the lights is included in the turnkey packages. If you have extra electrical needs (extension cords, extra outlets, etc) you will need to order it through the Javits Center. You can contact them at [email protected]. FURNISHINGS If you would like to rent additional items (extra chair, extra light) or swap items included in the turnkey stand package, you may do so with Freeman Exhibitor Services, at an additional charge. Please contact them via email at [email protected] for more information. MATERIAL HANDLING

Material handling for your stand package includes delivery of wines or spirits only, up to 3 cases (36 bottles) for a business level stand and up to 6 cases (72 bottles) for a premier level stand. Please do not send a large amount of additional wine. By law, leftover alcohol cannot be shipped back to you and will be destroyed at the end of the event. The material handling included in your stand package is for wines or spirits only. All material handling for non-alcohol items including brochures, stand materials, decorations, etc. will be at the exhibitor’s expense. Price is based on weight. Please refer to the Freeman Material Handling forms for pricing. Material handling rates can become very expensive. As an alternative, if you are only sending small quantities, consider shipping to your hotel or including these items in your luggage.
