    Fear is Normal, Let it Happen & Learn from It

    Fear can be a debilitating thing. It can completely ruin your day, a specialmoment; and even your life! But, lets define fear first before we talk more aboutits effects. It will be easier to overcome something if we first, know exactly whatit is. Websters dictionary says fear is:

    A feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence orimm inence of danger, a state or condi t ion marked by this feel ing, a

    feel ing o f disq uiet or apprehension , extreme reverence or awe as

    toward a supreme power, a reason for dread or apprehension.

    Fear as you can see can be from outside you or something that comes frominside you. It is an emotion that exhibits strong feelings no matter the source.While some fears are valid and can preserve your life, others are very destructivein their nature and need to be dealt with.

    Freedom from fear of any kind can lead you to true success in your personal lifeand business life. You can take the fears that you have and turn them aroundand use them in a more constructive way to lead you down a better path in life.

    But, what about failure? Some people have a fear of failing. It is important to notethat there is nothing wrong with failing. You can learn a lot from failing atsomething. We will all fail at some point or another in our lives at something.What is important is how you approach the failure. A lot of great things havecome out of life because of a failure. Failure, when see with the rightperspective can help push you forward in ways you could not imagine.

    However, when you tie fear into the concept of failure and allow it to take overand keep you from seeing the benefits of the failure you may repeat that failureover and over and never learn what the failure could have taught you.

    In this report we will look at 3 strategies for overcoming fear, how to overcomethe obstacles to your success and how to actually transform your fear intosuccess.

    STRATEGY 1: Rise Above Obstacles

    You will have to overcome many things to conquer your fears. Some of theobstacles may be internal things you created in your life that are self sabotaging.With some consistency and determination you can overcome them and moveforward.

    Keys to handling obstacles to your success:

    1. Understand your goals & get Gods plan.

    Know exactly what it is you're trying to do. Seek God for a plan. At thispoint in your life anything you try to do outside of Him wont workanyway. What goal are you trying to reach personally? Take time toput what He says on paper if you need to along with what steps youwill take to reach that particular goal. This goal is just a roadmap for

    you to follow. A guide.

    Be prepared for the unexpected to take place in your plan. Rarely dothings go just as we plan them. Be open to adjustments and changesthat you will need to make.

    Identify the parts of your plan that may become problematic and lay outalternatives.

    2. Trust yourself & trust God.

    God has given you the plan. He will also give you the wisdom andknowledge to carry it out. Set your mind to the fact that you have heardwhat he said and that you will achieve that. No matter what it costs.

    Trust God. Trust in His process for your life and that He knows best.Trust Him completely to change you and make the goals happen. Thisprocess will be one of faith and that you can follow your instincts if theyare in God. Trust that the Holy Spirit is telling you what to do.

    3. Seek out help, if need be.

    If there's something in your way that you feel you cannot move orhandle on yoru own seek out good help. You can't do everything byyourself. You are not an island and rarely do we get out of troubleor hard places on our own. We have to learn to depend on othersat times.

    Trust that God will send you the right help at the right time as well.He see you and sees exactly what you need and He cares enoughto help.

    Friends, family and co-workers can also be a good resource for

    help. However, be careful which family members you go to andhow much you share. It could open doors that you are not ready togo thru.

    4. Gain a fresh perspective.

    Stepping back from your situation and trying to get a differentperspective is a great way to look at your obstacle with a clarityyou might not have seen before.

    Try to ask impartial people what they see and how they view yourcircumstance is a great way to go about this.

    Change your routine. Take a break and walk away from yourproblem for a while, if you can. Come back to the problem after alittle while and see if you missed anything.

    5. Never ever give up.

    Vince Lombardi said it best: "Winners never quit and quitters neverwin!"This is as true as it gets.

    Keep at the problem until it is resolved. Consistency is the key.Find a way to keep going.

    Start again if need be. Sometimes despite all your efforts at asolution you may need to rebuild that area of your life. It may bethat a fundamental belief you have is wrong and that belief iseffecting everything else in your life.

    STRATEGY 2: Conquer Your Fears

    Overcoming your fears can prove to be one of the hardest things in your life youwill ever do. But, you CAN DO IT!!!!! Lets look some strategies here and getsome understanding to overcome this area.

    Keys to overcoming your fears:

    1. What is your fear?

    You must identify your fear. Give it a name. If you can identify it,you can conquer it. You cannot conquer something you dontrecognize.

    Is this fear you have rational or irrational? Can this fear hurt you? Ifyou fear something but it cant harm you then it is irrational. It has

    no power and you need not fear it.

    If the fear can hurt you, then there may be some validation to it.You can work with this fear and devise a plan on how to deal with itthat will bring you some comfort and clarity.

    2. Confront your fear!

    Face your fear. Find out what the Word of God has to say aboutthis area you fear and what God says is a solution. Talk about thisfear to others. Dont keep it hidden from others. See what you can

    do to confront the fear head on. Denial is a great enemy toovercoming fear.

    You dont have to face it all alone.Reach out to your loved ones forsupport. Theyll be happy to help you overcome something thatspreventing you from having a better life.

    Find a safe way to confront the fear. Talk to a trusted person andstart with a scaled down version of your fear and face it.

    3. Make up your mind.

    Mind over matter is a great tool. Sometimes just making up your mindto change works. Simply making a decision to change starts you on theroad to success. The fear was born in your mind and grew in your mindbecause that is where you fed it. So changing your thinking will help.

    Believe the truth. If your fear is an irrational one and you believe it tobe true then the power of TRUTH will counter that. Many fears we

    have are those weve created for ourselves. The moment somethingcauses you to become fearful, stop that thought in its tracks and go theWord of God and replace it with the TRUTH of His Word.

    4. Knowledge is the best weapon.

    Research this fear. Find out what is all about and learn about it andhow to conquer it. Sometimes just getting the facts aboutsomething will totally release it from your life. You may find out thatsomething is totally not true that you have believed is all this time.

    Some fears are normal. Like being afraid of fire, this type of fear is a normal,perfectly rational fear and is something you may not need to fix. Fears can b ehelpful in many circumstances.However, if a fear is controlling your life, you

    need to face it head on and conquer it.

    STRATEGY 3: Transform Fear into Success

    As you allow God to help you overcome your fears to success never forget thatGod has not given you the spirit of fear. You have the spirit of love, power, and asound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You can be transformed on the inside by the Word

    of God and some simple things on the outside to help as well. It will be the Wordof God that will transform your fears and move you to success. Nothing else!

    Keys to transforming fear into success:

    1. Meditate in the Word of God.

    Have a plan each day to read the Word of God and meditate it overand over in your mind and spirit. The Word is full of truth that willset you free.

    Read scriptures that remind you of Gods constant presence in yourlife and how he protects you. Scriptures like Hebrews 13:5, Psalm34:4, 2 Timothy 1:7,

    2. Listen to the Word of God Every Day.

    Find some encouraging Word that you can listen to everyday thatwill uplift you and change your perspective. There are manyavenues for this. TV, Internet, social media of all kinds, books ontape, cds and more.

    3. Exercise.

    Physical activity boosts the immune system and strengthens themind and body. When you exercise, your body releases endorphinsthat help promote a healthy mind and body. In the least, exercisecan take your mind off your worries.

    4. Set Goals.

    Take some time out of your day to set some specific, short term,and simple goals to complete tasks. The more you accomplish the

    more self-confidence you'll build. Self-confidence is a powerful toolfor removing fear.

    5. Talk About It.

    Fears can multiply when you bottle them up inside you. When youlet fear build, it snowballs and gets bigger and bigger until itbecomes terrifying to you. This is a trick of the enemy to keep you

    isolated with your fear. Talking about it helps relieve the pressureand gives you the opportunity to obtain honest feedback.

    Let Go of Worry

    Therefore I tel l you, stop being perpetual ly un easy (anxious and

    worr ied) abou t your l i fe, what you shal l eat or what you sh al l dr ink;

    Worry is a habit. Yes a habit. It is a useless emotion and doesn't help you movebeyond any fears that you have. Here is why you need to let go it, cast it off andget rid of it.

    Worry always falls into one of two categories:

    1. Things you can't control.

    If you have no control over the outcome of a situation, why worry about it?

    You can't change or control other people, what will happen or willsomething happen or not.

    Worrying won't make a difference at all in the situation.It will only add toyour fears and prevent you from taking care of the things you cancontrol.

    2. Things you can control.

    If you cancontrol the situation you are concerned about, then it's simple:take action! If you're doing everything you can, then you no longer haveany need to worry.

    Being successful isn't easy and it involves a lot of hard work, dedication andsometimes sacrifices. With the above keys, a positive attitude, a good plan, andpositive people around you to help, you can accomplish anything you set yourmind to.
