work here.• I also teach Creative Writing so you could have me twice a day.• I live in Palm Harbor (north of here).• I am married and have a dog named Angie who I talk about all the

time (I also have a fish and a cat).• I love the beach, reading, travelling, and going to concerts (rock

and country music).• I am from Connecticut and I am a big New England sports fan but I

Demerits

• If you do it but don’t get it signed by a parent you will get 1 demerit

• If you forget your materials you will get 1 demerit• You will get a 5 demerit notice to warn you• When you get a 10 demerit notice, you will have to

go to IAC to discuss your fundamental school future• DEMERITS ARE NOT DETENTIONS they are only for

academic work

• The mission of Mrs. Mittica’s class is to create a respectful, safe environment for learning and expression. Students will develop strong reading and writing skills. Students will learn about themselves and the world around them through independent and collaborative work. We will achieve this through goal-setting and tracking our progress throughout the year.

• Respect – No hurtful words (no insults); listen to ANYONE who is talking to the whole class; be kind to each other

• Responsibility – Bring all materials; do your work; help others; be on time

• Safety – Keep hands to self; use materials and furniture correctly; listen to all announcements
