This is a standard work of project in its compilation. It’s quite original in style & method, and no pain has been spared in making it as compact perfect and reliable as possible. Every attempt has been made to insert in this handy volume as many references as possible.

Each and every topic has been explained in detail. We are confident that the report of our will satisfy the details of department in detail. This project has been carried out and presented towards as per requirement of CSIT, DURG for 5th

semester and as every point involves time and effort to present the topic in as simple and lucid manner as possible providing beautification to the user. We have tried our level best to make this project fulfilling and observing.

Though every care has been taken to keep the presentation simple. Any suggestion for the project would be thankfully welcomed.

Usually after purchasing a new tube light we forget that it will be useless one day. We notice that after working for several days either it takes more time to burn, or dark patches appear at it ends. But using this circuit which is quite cheap and easy to make, one can reuse that tube light or can increase the life of a new one.

Construction:All the components should be joined as per circuit diagram. Diodes should be connected with care so as not to reverse bias them.

Working:This circuit is actually a voltage developer. When electric current passes through choke, then high DC current is formed at output, due to which tube light burns.

After full completion of circuit choke cuts off some voltage and thus tube light remains on.

Precautions: When tube light does not burn in one position, then

terminals should be interchanged. Live wire only should be joined in choke. 36W tube light should not be used.

Conclusion:

This project has taken in consideration the need of developing a kit that would be really helpful in utilizing tube lights which are of no use and those tending to be one. This project aims at utilizing to the fullest all the resources available and decrease the wastage by faulty tube lights. With the implementation of

project more and more people would be reusing there tube lights and it would help in reducing cost in this regard.

Future developments:

This project has a very futuristic approach toward solving the problem of wastage in case of tube lights. There has been research going on the making such tube lights that would be much smaller and much thinner in there dimensions but have

the same illumination. Also there can be energy savers tube light development. The deployment of energy savers in various fields and also in household is going on in wide scale. Remote operated tube lights and lights that operate on speech have made their mark in the market. People are now more utilizing energy savers light called as the CFL or the compressed fluorescent lamps that are much smaller than the conventional ones and also utilize lesser energy that the latter one. All these have been the area of research in the near past and also in days to come.
