• The first impression:

– just a bunch of fries shaped as the McDonald's M arch.

Cultural knowledge necessary

• Further thought and discussion: – the fries represent how a Muslim prays- with their

fingers closed, and risen with the palms facing up.

– The crescent moon represents the 30th day of the Islamic month of Ramadan, where Muslims all around the world fast during the day for 30 days.
