“Since Albania became part of the IMO-STCW White List (MSC.1/Circ.1163/Rev.8, 7January 2013), this new situation have brought to our country, huge opportunities ofwork for the new generation, especially for those who want to see their job carrier, focused on the shipping sector. This market actually is globally faced to our seafarers. Now they are in front of a huge working competition, worldwide and it’s veryimportant to show how able they are, to win the respect and the interest of the shipowners. This new situation is like a first stage for us, are requested huge efforts andwilling to introduce our seafarers as good and experienced sea-workers. It’s not simplebut we've trust, taking in to account the advantages we offer for the ship-owners, inrelations with cost salaries, geographic position, new age and knowledge of foreignlanguages, for sure we’ll be able to make part in the Mediterranean region as acompetitive nation of the shipping sector”.
