The Department of Information Technology has Part time lecturers X (10) positions at the Soshanguve South Campus.

Following subjects are without lecturers:

a) COB20AT Communication Networks IAb) COB20BT Communication Networks IIB c) DSA20BT Distributed Systems IIBd) SSF24BT System Software IIBe) CGS10BT Computing Systems IB f) CN2115D Computer Networks 125Rg) ITU401T Information Security IVh) NSY401T Network Systems IVi) ADS401T Advanced Support Services IV

Key performance areas/Core functions:

a) Preparing all lecture materials, assessments and related documentsb) Presenting lectures and assessing students in the departmentc) Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under

subject head, sectional head and HOD supervision.d) The appointments are for TUT contact periods for 1st semester of 2021. e) Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT policy. f) No additional remuneration for traveling, relocation, etc.

Minimum requirements:

a) Hons in IT or equivalent for Diploma subjects, and b) M Tech or equivalent qualification for B Tech subjects

Experience:

a). At least two years teaching and/or research and/or industrial experience in Information Technology (Preferably Communication Networks and Support Services).
