How did it all start?July 1998: Creation of Télécoms Sans Frontières (TSF).

How did it all start?

April 1999:  First mission of TSF and first calling operation in Albania.

Nov 2001:  First TSF Telecom Centre, Mazâr‐e charif, Afghanistan.

Sept 2002:   TSF becomes Partner of the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department (ECHO). 

Oct 2006:   TSF becomes Partner of the United Nations OCHA and UNICEF, and is appointed “First Responder” by the UN in the framework of the Emergency Telecommunications Cluster.
