TS 92 CAM-ACTION DOOR CLOSER
For the trade• Inexpensive cam-action technology for standard interior
doors.• Low storage costs and reduced inventory requirement
thanks to uniform slide channels of the Softline series.
For the installer/fabricator• Non-handed design.• Easy to fix and quickly adjustable.
For the architect/specifier• Excellent value for money.• Uniform appearance throughout the entire Softline slide
channel range.
For the user• Exceptional ease of use and fully controlled closing
action.• Optimum adaptability of the closing speed with reliable
latching thanks to two regulating valves.

*For particularly heavy doors and doors which have to close against wind resistance, we recommend the DORMA TS 93.
B = Standard model for pull-side door leaf fixing/push-side transom fixing.G = Special model for push-side door leaf fixing/pull-side transom fixing.
As units designed especially for interior applications, the DORMA TS 92 door closer constitutes the perfect complement to the DORMA TS 93 cam-action door closer system. It likewise comes in the Softline design and, thanks to their linear drive mechanism with heart-shaped cam, they offer the same ease of use. Moreover, its competitive pricing combined with its outstanding level of assured quality make it particularly attractive from an economic standpoint as well.

The inexpensive solution forstandard doors – with qualityassuredWith the TS 71, DORMA hasdeveloped a door closer thatrounds off its ClassicLineseries perfectly. The easeand speed with which it canbe fixed, the fact that itsspring strength can be soeasily adapted to the doorsize – by simply turninground the hinge plate – and
its competitive price shouldmake it the ideal choice foryour application.
For the trade2 Increased stocking
flexibility thanks to use ofthe standard ClassicLineseries arm.
2 Complements theClassicLine series as acompetitive model forstandard doors.
For the installer/fabricator2 Non-handed design.2 Easy and quick to fix.
For the architect/specifier2 Competitive and reliable.2 Compact construction

Data and features TS 73 EMF TS 73 EMR1)The proven solution for controlled hold-open of fire and smoke check doorsUniversal application capability, stable hold-openpoint and assured quality. The DORMA TS 73 EMF is a combination of hydraulicdoor closer and electro-magnetic hold-open unit. In conjunction with a smokedetection system (e.g.DORMA RMZ-K/S), the TS 73 EMF can be used asa hold-open system for fireand smoke check doors. Also available is the DORMATS 73 EMR as an integratedsystem comprising hydraulicdoor closer, electro-magnetichold-open device, power
supply unit and smokedetector. In the case of both systems,hold-open of the door is performed under electro-magnetic control. In theevent of a fire, the door isreliably closed by the integral hydraulic closer. The closing cycle is alsoinitiated by manual dooroperation or automatically inthe event of a power failure.
Quality assured manufacture to DIN ISO 9001, EN 29001, BS 5750Certified and verified by BSI Quality AssuranceReg.-No. Q 6423, FM 10756
For the trade2 Efficient stocking thanks
to non-handed, modularsystem
2 Range of arm assembliesand accessories to providean ideal solution even for special applications.
For the fabricator/installer2 Easy to fix.2 Time-saving electrical
connections.2 No adjustment of the hold-
open point necessary.2 Optimum adaptability
thanks to adjustable latching action.
For the specifier/architect2 Attractive, compact design.2 Wide range of applications.2 Hold-open possible
between approx. 75° and180°.
For the user2 To hold open, the door
simply has to be openedto the required point andreleased.
2 Free selection of the hold-open point (openingangles over 75°); variableat any time without theneed for adjustment ofsetting controls.
2 Convertible to free-swingdoor closer.
1) Also available as slave unit for equipping double doors (no integral power supplyunit or smoke detector)
2) For applications involving particularly high or heavy doors, and doors which haveto close against wind or draught conditions, the next larger closer size should beselected.

The hold-open unit can beswitched on and off by the user as required, and the pull-off force can be adjusted to suit each individual door situation.
The DORMA RF hold-openunit is non-handed and can also be supplied forretrofitting to the slide channel at a later date.

Hold-open unitThe DORMA RF mechanical hold-open unit ensures that doors are held open at precisely the correct angle - up to approx. 150° - without any fallback. The hold-open unit can be switched on and off by the user as required, and the pull-off force can be adjusted to suit each individual door situation. The DORMA RF hold-open unit is non-handed and can also be supplied for retro-fitting to the slide channel at a later date.
Cushioned limit stayCushioned limit stay simply slides into the slide channel. Adjustable between 80° and max. 120°. Also suitable for retrofitting. Fitting a cushioned limit stay prevents doors which are opened normally from impacting against adjacent walls. The cushioned limit stay is not an overload protection device and in many applications will not be a suitable substitute for a door stop.

Provided the structural conditions allow, an opening angle of 180° is possible with this method of fixing. In most cases, however, a wall recess will have to be provided for the door closer.
Depending on the structural conditions, the door opening angle with this method of fixing is limited to approx. 120° to 145°.In order to avoid damage to the door or door closer, users are recommended to install a cushioned backstay or a door stop.

The DORMA G-EMF slidechannel assembly enablesthe door to be held opensecurely at a preselectedposition without fall-back.The hold-open point can beadjusted within an openingangle of approx. 80° and120°.NoteThe active leaf can be opened up to the maximumselected hold-open point(door stop to be positionedaccordingly).
In the event of an alarm or a fault in the power supply, the hold-open is releasedand the door is closed bythe door closer. The releaseis triggered by a signal fromexternal smoke detectors(e.g. DORMA RMZ-K/S orDORMA RM). The release force for thehold-open mechanism canbe adjusted without toolsand is rated to ensure thatthe door can also be easilyreleased manually.
The DORMA G-EMF slidechannel assembly comprisesthe slide arm, slide channel, slide block, electro-mechan-ical hold-open unit, cover, fixing screws and end caps. The DORMA G-EMF is transom-fixed and non-handed.
In the case of particularlylarge and heavy doors (over1250 mm), or doors inwhich the hold-open pointrequired exceeds 120°, werecommend that DORMA EMhold-open magnets in conjunction with theDORMA RMZ-K/S centralsmoke detector be employedinstead of the electro-mechanical hold-open unit.
Operating voltage 24 vDC, ± 15%
Power input 1.4 W
Rated for continuous duty (100%)

In the event of an alarm or a fault in the power supply, the hold-open is released and the door is closed by the door closer. The release is triggered by a signal from external smoke detectors (e.g. DORMA RMZ-K/S or DORMA RM).
The release force for the hold-open mechanism can be adjusted without tools and is rated to ensure that the door can also be easily released manually.

In the case of particularly large and heavy doors (over 1250mm), or doors in which the hold-open point required exceeds 120°, we recommend that DORMA EM hold-open magnets in conjunction with the DORMA RMZ-K/S central smoke detector be employed instead of the electromechanical hold-open unit.
