A very silly monkey got himself into a lot of trouble recently.

The baby long-tailed macaque (pronounced macawk) passed out with after slurping down a cup of coffee it stole from a tourist!

The thirsty monkey jumped onto a tourist’s motorbike in the Thai capital Bangkok and quickly drank the coffee.

As the monkey was only around 6 months old, the coffee was too much and, within seconds, he collapsed.

However, quick-thinking tourists raised the alarm and a vet was quickly on the scene.

After giving him emergency aid, the cheeky little monkey finally came around and was soon healthy enough to rejoin his troop.

Two lessons learned for little monkey: don’t steal and certainly don’t drink coffee!
