and digitalized era. Hence, business owners invest considerably

for getting their documents translated into/from Chinese.

So, being a Chinese translator, it is your duty and responsibility

to make sure that the translation should not be messier for the

business owner, who is paying you money for the translation

assignment. You need to solve the mess or translation issues on

your own.

Here are some tips, using which you can easily deliver quality to

your client:

First of all, you must understand that simplicity is the key in

translation. According to a global Chinese translation company,

some translators try to explain the text in detail. In such an

effort, they make the language of the text, very complicated

and difficult to understand. So, you should avoid this.

Word to word translation is another issue that is generally seen

with the translators. This is actually an issue in itself. Do not

translate every word by word, as they do not reveal the exact

meaning of the original text.

Consulting a dictionary is an easy way to make sure that the

words or phrases that you use are correct top the maximum

possible extent. Some translators consider it wrong. However,

it is pretty ok to use it. Atleast it better than making mistakes in

the translations.

Last but not the least; pay maximum attention to the meaning

of the original text. The basic need of translation is only to

understand the meaning of the text. Thus, your major concern

should be the meaning of the text on priority basis.

So, as a translator, you should keep the translation simple and

devoid of any confusion, mess or issue. Issues occur, when you

are lacking somewhere. Use these tips and don’t give a chance

to your client to point a finger of the quality of your translation.
