TRUST CLOUD

Purpose

• Trust Cloud calculates a person’s trust score (between 1 and 1000) based on his/her activities, behaviour and responses on several social networks and allows someone to use that score to be showcased for benefits in the real world – like a job or a business opportunity.

• While FB, G+, Linkedin, Twitter and ebay are currently being served, the platform is introducing stackoverflow, Github, Quora, Ask.com, and Yelp very soon to cater to a variety of audiences (from coders to problem solvers on quora to travel bloggers )and calculate their trust scores.

Trust scores are calculated based on two methods – 1.

algorithm driven reports of a person’s trust score across networks + endorsements

from other members at Trust Cloud.

The more details you fill in the site, the more trust scores get

added at the same time.

Other users can endorse you based on several parameters such as a. how organised are

you b. how efficient are you in your work c, how helpful are you d. how reliable are you.

Points of endorsement.

You can collect additional points based on achievements on the site. The achievements

are of three kinds:

1. If you fill in enough details about yourself

2. If you recommend and get friends to join the site

3. If you can highlight bugs and enhance the site for

the users

Verification is a service that Trust Cloud

provides for its US customers

right now. There are different

pricing options. For example, you get your

address verified for $10

These services help build a

person’s reputation. For example, if you have shared a

ride with someone using Relay rides, or

wheelz, you can highlight it here.

These are examples of

care-shares that a person does which can be integrated on

the site for better scores.

Finally, here are the options available within TrustCloud for both Individuals and Marketplaces – which include ‘trust measurement’ for individuals, and

Trust Check APIs for marketplaces to integrate within their shops/stores.
