Trumansburg/Ulysses Recreation
Program Guide 2016-2017
If you live in Trumansburg School District, you are a member of the Recreation Partnership. As an RP member you receive discounted program fees to Ithaca Youth Bureau Programs. The I-Playbook comes out three times a year: Summer/Fall, Winter and Spring. Any program that is labeled “RP Discount” in the I-Playbook is an RP program. Look for booklets to come home with elementary age children. They are also available at the Town and Village Halls and Library. You can also view programs at the Ithaca Youth Bureau Web page: www.Ithacayouthbureaurecreation.com
Trumansburg Community Recreation Initiative
We are a locally-organized group dedicated to building a community recreation center, pool, and youth sports fields in Trumansburg. Our goal is to serve all groups and individuals in our community with space for community sports, rec-reation, and leisure in the Trumansburg area.
Five key ways we are hoping to help our community 1. Create spaces for our community to come together 2. Build fields to allow more access for our community sports teams 3. Provide opportunities to help our local seniors stay active 4. Provide spaces for our youth to engage in healthy activities
5. Connect surrounding communities with Trumansburg Quarterly meetings are planned to keep the community up-to-date with our progress. If you are interested in helping our initiative or have any questions, please visit our website at www.tburgcr.org or email us at [email protected]
