True Love Requires Understanding, Not Knowing

We expect the truths of another’s world to be the same as ours,

but they are not.

For a time, your truth, your world

will coincide with another’s.

We call that friendship, comradery,

or even love.

True love with another endures even during those times when your worlds diverge. Such times can be painful.

transcends the worldly.

Harmony between people, between worlds, means understanding.

Understanding means holding another within your heart as they traverse through the worlds we call life.

Understanding means love.
