Panamá has a special location with connection to

both Atlantic and Pacific with a growing market in gas

for the remote locations and the surrounding islands

(HUB)

The region is booming in renewable energy where the

LNG/Gas chain is complementary (hybrid solution).

Virtual Pipeline by sea thru small ship or on land by

truck will be economical when conventional LNG

Terminal will be in operation.

Truck Loading Station –Phase 1


Truck loading station shall be executed in

several phases. So far, GNLM is only

considering the first phase: Phase 1, one bay.

1st set of FEED Documents where realized in

2014 and currently Tractebel will update the

FEED and prepare the detail engineering taking

into account the recent KELAR connection.

Truck Loading will be possible from the rear side or from left/right side.

It is design to load LNG ISO Container on truck

LNG supply flow rate for 3 trucks at same time: 225

m³/h (75 m³/h per truck).

BOG flow rate 3000 Nm3/h (1000 Nm³/h per bay).

No Recirculation flow on each bay.

Roads curvature radius will have a minimum of 12

m.

Flexible Hoses must be provided with quick release

coupling in order to avoid loss of product during

disconnection of the hoses

Safety Feature


LNG spillage detection: LNG spills are detected by

low temperature sensors (RTD's,

thermocouples or cold sensing strips). They are

protected against accidental damage.

Flammable gas detection: The flammable gas

detectors are of the poison-resistant catalytic

type or, where applicable, of the infra-red type.

Flame detection: The flame detectors are of the

ultraviolet/infrared (UV/IR) type.
