Life cycle: the design proposal
Trophy Design Competition/ Life Cycleworldsteel ASSOCIATION | steeluniversity.org
3
Emerging from the rock and finally reaching the purest forms, “Life Cycle” (our proposal) symbolizes the art and science of steelmaking. In the foreground, we can see the World supported by the Steel, which is represented by the crystallographic direction with the greatest resistance in the iron. The latter proyects into the Universe, beyond the perimeter of the work’s base, as a sign of “supremacy” and “continuous development”.Linked shapes at the top and the design of the base are a sample of the steel transformation capability, thus accomplishing the inspiring idea of this creation.
