It is a mixture of rice, Cajun spices, some “almost” secret ingredients, and filled with shrimp, chicken, and sausage – and always cooked in a Dutch oven. Our pastor, being from that neck of the woods, makes a “mean” jambalaya. He is offering to provide enough jambalaya to feed six persons and will deliver it to your house at a mutually agreed upon evening. Add some coleslaw and a dessert like banana pudding or peach cobbler or even Bananas Foster and you have a complete meal to serve your family or guests.
