Newsletter
Thank you to all our parents for the help you pro-
vided during our annual Winter Sports Festival on
Saturday. We rely heavily on the assistance you
provide to the Parents Association in making the
day a success. Our children all benefit from the
funds raised at these days and you will see the fruit
of this shortly. One of the projects is the further instal-
lation of shade and seating in our swimming pool
areas and at the Prep School netball courts south of
the Astro. This will commence shortly.
Our first CAPEX project for the year has been com-
pleted. The new Junior Primary entrance is now open
and will certainly assist in making entrance into the
school easier and safer for our children and parents.
The aesthetics of the entrance will follow soon as we
plan to beautify this area of our school. Thank you for
your patience in this regard.
Please take note of the important notice in this edi-
tion regarding the Consulta survey that will com-
mence shortly. This survey plays a significant role in
trying to maintain, and improve, our service as a
school to the community we serve. I would like to
encourage all our parents to participate in this online
survey.

To All our Grade 7 pupils, Parents, Teachers & Make-a-Difference Friends,
Make-a-Difference Winter Party - Saturday, 30 May 2015 With winter around the corner, most of us are very aware of and sensitive towards the fact that there are
many families and particularly children, that find winter extremely difficult due to the extreme cold and lack
of food.
Together with the Grade 7’s, we will be hosting another winter party at Trinityhouse for 85 underprivileged
children from Zandspruit informal settlement. The party is set for Saturday 30th of May and is to be held at the
Trinityhouse Wild Animal Pre-Primary School, from 08:30 –14:00.
We have put together a list of 85 children that most need to be involved in an outreach programme of this
type. The list of children includes many orphans being cared for by Grandparents or older siblings, as well as
many children from homes where both or one of their parents is ill or unemployed and buying the most basic
‘essential’ items such as food, clothing etc.. is an enormous challenge.
Through organizing this party, we hope to make a small difference in the life of each of the
children, by giving them hope and showing them that there are people out there that care.
In addition to lots of fun activities at the winter party - like face painting, make n bake, arts & crafts, music
activities & a tasty lunch, we would also like to bless each of these children with a gift of a lovely warm jack-
et/track suit, beanie , gloves , scarf & blanket to keep them warm during the cold winter months ahead.
As with most functions of this size, there are always costs associated. We would like to appeal to as many
parents and possibly local businesses & companies to assist with the sponsoring of the other items needed.
If you or your company would be willing to assist us with any of the areas / items mentioned below – either
by way of sponsorship or a good discount, we would be EXTREMELY grateful.
We will be sending out a newsletter to all Trinityhouse families after the Winter Party mentioning all the spon-
soring companies & their contact details. Sponsors will also be mentioned on our website.
If you would like to assist, please contact us as soon as possible (see contact details on reverse), or alterna-
tively, you can do a transfer to the banking details below.
