Trinity Sunday
T he eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain
to which Jesus had ordered them. When they all saw
him, they worshiped, but they doubted. Then Jesus
approached and said to them, "All power in heaven
and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have
commanded you. And behold, I am with you always,
until the end of the age." MATTHEW 28:16-20

At Good Shepherd, we begin to make those changes this weekend with further implementation by July 1, 2021. Some things will take sometime to regroup and need a little time to restart them well. We have made every effort to make all feel welcome, comfortable and safe. Please note the following:

PRESENTATION OF THE GIFTS OF BREAD AND WINE May 29, 2021: The gifts will continue to be at the altar already. July 1, 2021: The gifts will be presented by the faithful.
HYMNALS May 29, 2021: We will continue to use the projection as hymnals are staged are returned to the pews. July 1, 2021: Hymnals will be used. The texts of the readings and hymns will also be printed in the bulletin.

CHAPEL May 29, 2021: The chapel opens for prayer/visits to the Blessed Sacrament. Please see the Chapel Hours on the front cover of the bulletin. The Glass chapel will no longer be used.

Each year, the Diocese assigns every parish its financial share of the care of the larger Church to support diocesan ministries, programing and outreach. This figure is determined by looking at the parish’s size and income.

Thank you to every one who has given/pledged so far! Please remember that Good Shepherd is responsible for this amount, no matter what.
