*Congregation Standing The Lighting of the Candles

As we see the light of the candles spread through the dark room, we are reminded of Jesus, the Light of the World, and how He has called His followers to be lights of the world as well. We picture the darkness of unbelief being pierced by the spread of the truth. In order that we

may do this safely, we ask that lit candles always be kept vertical. And let the person next to you put their unlit candle into your flame. Parents must assist and/or closely supervise any child with a candle.

Tonight’s Offering

Each Christmas Eve we take an offering that is used to minister mercy to retired PCA pastors/missionaries and their wives and/or widows of PCA pastors/missionaries who have served in churches and ministries where they have not been well supported and able to plan for retirement. Please see the flyer inserted in the bulletin tonight for more information.
