Part of the management ethos at Trigion has always been to

dedicate any resource necessary to provide industry-leading

Trigion operates to the very highest standards in the industry

and has been awarded the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

Approved Contractor status. The SIA reports directly to the UK

home secretary and imposes stringent requirements that must

be met by all approved contractors. We are proud to say that

Trigion was amongst the first to qualify!

ISO 9000: the DTI's “Tick & Crown” mark denotes government

recognition of consistent standards, systems and procedures -

another important credential for the Trigion security service. All

Trigion security officers are vetted and trained to NSI Standards

BS7858, and the company is proud to have achieved BS7499,

BS7984, SSAIB, Investors in People and full NSI certification.

Every six months, Trigion is inspected by the Inspectorate of

the security industry to two British standards, namely BS7499 -

“The Code of Practice for Static Site Guarding and Mobile Patrol

Services” and BS7858 - “The Code of Practice for Security

Screening of personnel employed in a Security Environment”.

This helps us ensure that all of our procedures and staff continue

to deliver to the highest possible standards.

Trigion provides a bespoke service that may incorporate electronic

security in place of physical security. Our 24 hour manned

Control Room/Communication Centre is a vital part of the

operation, providing support and advice to any officers on site

at the time they need it most. All our mobile response vehicles

are fitted with a tracking device that allows our communications

centre to locate the vehicles to within 3 metres and can identify

the closest vehicle geographically, offering an immediate

response to any client site. With the resources to provide a full

security solution, offering the latest in electronic surveillance

systems and centrally co-ordinated services, Trigion is an industry

leader and a valued partner.

TRADITIONAL GUARDING – MODERN ATTITUDES

Trigion’s primary goal is to provide a consistently high

standard of service. It also believes that the approach of the

guards should match the assignment they are placed in.

This means that in addition to regular security training, Trigion

guards also receive training in people and communication skills,

ensuring they meet your expectations in terms of professionalism

and care. The company has always considered this to be of

the utmost importance, as Trigion guards are often employed

in situations in which they are the first point of contact for blue-

chip and industry leading companies.

Static Guards – Smart, well trained guards ensure your premises

are safe and secure. Each guard is trained to meet your site’s

security needs. Routine security patrols of the premises are

electronically recorded and patrol reports are available on request.

Each site based guard has his own Duty Supervisor to maintain

the highest possible standards, and to ensure that the operation

runs smoothly.

Mobile Patrols – Our patrol vehicles, which are equipped

specifically for this purpose, perform routine inspections or

unscheduled visits. A vast range of tasks can be undertaken;

from locking up a customer’s premises to responding to on-site

incidents, working in conjunction with our camera monitoring

service.

Commissionaires – Our high-profile Commissionaires act as

security-aware receptionists, working under your orders.

They provide a reassuring way to greet visitors and offer a polite

personal touch, especially valuable in multi-tenanted buildings.

Retail Security Officers – Our smart, purpose-trained security

officers are competent enough to deal with all eventualities,

from customer enquiries to liaising with the police in the event

of an incident.

Keyholding – Our keyholding service is able to respond to

all types of alarm activations within any given sector. More

importantly, since our mobile units are fitted with a real-time

tracking device we can respond to most cases in less than

20 minutes, guaranteeing an effective response to any situation.

All of the keys we hold are kept in sealed pouches and are

placed in a safe, which is bolted to the chassis of our mobile

patrol vehicle. The keyholding service is monitored and inspected

ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS

solution.

CCTV Integrated Security

Trigion specialises in proactive CCTV systems that prevent

crimes occurring by actively interfacing with the site through

visual and auditory means at the point of intrusion; providing

real security control and preventing theft or damage to your

property.

An effective integrated security system can also monitor fire

alarms, sensitive plant alarms, and integrated mechanical

and electrical systems. On an unmanned site, Trigion can offer

complete security peace of mind through monitoring by our

24 hour surveillance centre. Visual and auditory identification

can be deployed intensively and combined with fully trained

surveillance centre personnel, creating a highly effective security

solution. Trigion is able to only allow access to those individuals

with agreed security clearance, in accordance with the security

operation protocols you have set. All systems comply with the

CCTV Data Protection Act, with commissioning staff licensed

assessors. All systems are fitted according to the SSAIB and

NACOSS standards.

ACCESS CONTROL – MANAGEMENT

Trigion Security’s Access Control services are designed to

compliment manpower requirements and provide expert back

up: the savings made by any reduction in manpower easily

outweigh the cost of installation and enable clients to operate

a truly effective system.

Trigion can install proximity, swipe card and biometrics access

control systems, thus offering a substantial combination of

options for buildings access and egress requirements. Access

control systems are fully integrated into normal Windows operating

systems with flexible controlling areas, staffing levels and time

frame windows, making the installed systems extremely user

friendly. It will give employees peace of mind in and around the

building or premises, and ensures that out of hours staff, visitors

and contractors can be managed successfully and securely.

Staff identification cards, with the option to incorporate dual

based vending facilities, magnetic swipe facilities, bar code

reading technology and photographic identification allow for the

monitoring and - if required - tracking of personnel. Cards can

also be customised with a company design and corporate

image for PR purposes.
