Club 45 - Follow the Star Childcare & Angel Tree at the Mall!
Calling all 4th and 5th graders! Each year our parents and students in Club 45 volunteer their time to oversee the infants and toddlers of the people who are part of the FTS program. It is a great way to volunteer AND if you do, we will take the money we would have spent on childcare and go to the mall to pick out Angel Tree gifts! To be able to participate in the Angel Tree you need to help in the nursery. Parents - we will need 3-4 adults and 4 children each
night. The times will be 6:10 until shortly after the last group goes around which is about 8:15- 9:00. Please let Stacy know if you would like to be a part of this fun group.
It’s just before Christmas and the tree ornaments have been awakened from their yearlyhibernation by the movement of their storage box. It’s time! As they begin to preparefor another season on the Watson’s Christmas tree, they are greeted by a rather strangeand “un-Christmassy” ornament: A Hula-Girl. The Star, the Snowman, the Angel and
others give her a rather cool reception until another significant figure from the
mantelpiece shows up to explain to all of them what Christmas is about and how theyeach have significance in God’s amazing plan of redemption through His Son, Jesus.
RAIS ING GENEROUS KIDSTo encourage generosity and a giving heart, the children’s ministrywill have all the offerings our elementary kids bring from nowuntil December 18th go to World Vision. The children will be ableto choose something that will benefit children around the worldfrom providing chickens, bibles, fresh water...our kids will be able tosee their giving at work!!! Please encourage your child(ren) tobring an offering to their Sunday school class each week. It willbring them greater joy to give if they work for their offering. What a wonderful way to explain God’s love for all of us in givinghis most generous gift, Jesus.

• We would like to get to know you! Each pew has a Welcome Book in whichyou can let us know prayer requests, sign up for events and update your
information. Please pass the Welcome Book down the row so we can hear from everyone!
• Communion/Lord’s Supper
All followers of Christ are welcome to participate in our Service of Communion. If you have prepared yourself for this very special moment with our Savior, you
are invited to his table. (1 Corinthians 11:23-30) Please take the emblems as
they are passed and partake when you are ready. Some prefer to take it while
it is in front of them before passing it along.
• Offering In our first two services, a special time for giving is set aside. Participation is an
act of worship and voluntary. During our third service there will not be a timespecific for offering but rather boxes are placed at the entry to allow for giving
as you are led.
• Nursery
We have a friendly, well-staffed and impeccably clean nursery located on the
north side of the narthex. Please see an usher for directions.
We hope your worship experience with us will be meaningful. To help
you feel a bit more comfortable with our campus and morning
programs, we have included a few recommendations. We are glad
you are here today!
